    Dr Andrea Rossi:
It’s Friday evening: can you update us about the operation of the E-Cats and tell us how will you spend your week end?
    Cheers,
    George

  • Andrea Rossi

    Rosy:
    I agree with you.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

    Dear Andrea Rossi:
Which is the crucial point of the theory that you are trying to complete in collaboration with Prof. Norman Cook at the base of the operation of the E-Cat?
    If you can say…
    Thank you,
    Stephany

  • Rosy

    Dr Andrea Rossi,
Congratulations for your US Patent. I have been impressed form the many successful replications that have been made after it. But the real success of your technology will be such only if you will be able to sell the E-Cats in the market. Before that, there will always be scepticism around, don’t you think so?
By the way: I am one out of the many that have pre-ordered an E-Cat.
    Cheers,
    Rosy

  • Andrea Rossi

    Severino D’Elia:
It is still very promising, anyway today we stopped it to make modifications to stabilize it; it will be restarted next Tuesday.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

    Frank Acland:
Now it has been fixed. Returned with full power at our disposal. Perhaps this night I will be able to study inside the computers container. Got homework to do from Prof. Norman Cook.
We are working on our next paper and we still do not know if we will decide to publish. If he will not give green light, no publication will be made.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Frank Acland

Dear Andrea — Best of luck with the repair! Is the plant working on 3 reactors, or did it have to be taken off line?

    Kind regards,

    Frank

  • Severino D'Elia

    Dr Andrea Rossi:
    How is going the E-Cat X ?

  • Andrea Rossi

    Frank Acland:
We are still working on it.
    Thank you for your attention.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Frank Acland

    Dear Andrea,

You mentioned you had to make a repair to the electronics of one reactor. How has that work gone?

    Many thanks,

    Frank Acland

  • Andrea Rossi

    Norine:
    Thank you,
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Andrea Rossi

    Alessandro Coppi:
Of course F9 depends also on the troubles we got. The E-Cat X has his own troubles too.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • alessandro Coppi

    Hi Andrea,
from your statistic of the problems, we can roughly calculate that they are daily, is it correct to say that F9 can be related to this behaviour, and the new E-CAT X we hope that make possible overcome also this issue?

    Best regards
    Alessandro Coppi

  • Norine

    Dear Dr Andrea Rossi,
I have been impressed from the number of replications of your effect made after the Lugano report and the publication of your US patent, whose application, made in March 2012, substantially discloses the apparatus used in the Lugano test made in March 2014.
    Very important.
    Congratulations,
    Norine

    Mr. Rossi,

Thought you might find this interesting. Thermo electric at 10% eff would be a big improvement but not there yet.

Hello Mr. Rossi, it was published this interesting analysis of your E cat.

Analysis of the Potential Thermal Behavior of the Energy Catalyzer as
Described in the Patent US 9,115,913 B1
    Jacques Ruer jsr.ruer@orange.fr

    Abstract
A US patent granted on August 25, 2015 describes the basic features of the so-called Energy Catalyzer invented by Andrea
Rossi. This device is made of an assembly of layers of different materials. The active layers contain a mix of powders of nickel,
lithium, and lithium aluminum hydride. They are sandwiched between steel sheets. An electrical resistor provides initial heating.
The energy produced is removed on the end faces of the assembly by a cooling fluid.
Assuming that the active mixture releases some heat at high temperature as claimed in the patent, the purpose of the paper is to
analyze the stability conditions of the device. During operation, the temperature must be maintained within a given range in
order to avoid a thermal runaway or extinction.
A simulation of the heat flow across the assembly is presented. It makes it possible to show the role of the different parameters of
    the system.

    Gerard McEk:
I am not flying so high, and settle, so far, for production of energy for industries and households. When you fight a battle, better stay focused on the real front, or you are doomed to be defeated for lack of force where you really need it in the due time and place.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Andrea Rossi

    Marco Serra:
When you deal with a plant made by tens of thousand of components the situation is quite different from making a software. The problems average has been obviously more dense during the initial period, but we continue to have problems now and again. This is why these tests and R&D are so important.
Thank you for your kind words and your attention.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Andrea Rossi

    Koen Vandewalle:
    1- I suppose so
2- we are studying the possible events and the related reparations
    3- yes
    4- impossible, for obvious reasons
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Andrea Rossi

    Magnus:
Thank you, very useful collection. It must be said that about the 35% of them has been successful already.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Koen Vandewalle

    Dear Andrea,

can a worst-case scenario of the famous F9 be overcome with engineering ?
Are you doing this already or is this mostly unnnecessary ?

E.g.: if one charge can only be used for 1% of its total energy content of Rossi-Effect, then engineering could make it very plug-and-play so that charges can be easy or even automatically changed and recycled or put in operation as a shift-register.

Are there registers or even matrices in an e-cat that are some kind of independently controllable ? If not, you’d better patent this now.

On the elemental particles: it becomes harder not to see the higher dimension, if te internal design of the matter itself makes it capable to create rocks and beautiful crystals and otherwise living organisms that are even capable of thinking.

    Kind Regards,

    Koen

  • Magnus

    Dear Andrea,

here is the list of all the replications of the so called Rossi Effect, listed by Franc Acland at E-Cat Replication Attempts. All made after the Lugano Report and some even after your patent was granted.

    Dear Andrea,
To have 172 problems in 8 months means approx. 1 problem each day. This surprised me a lot.
In my work I produce software packages that, at the beginning, are always imperfect and full of problems. Then it starts a test phase and a refinement process during which the frequency of the issues progressively decrease. When I have a “long” time without problems I consider my product ready to be launched.
In your test, is the frequency of the issues following a decreasing trend ? Are the 172 problems you’ve recorded concentrated mainly in the early stage of the test ? How long was the maximun time without problems ?

We all can’t wait to see the launch to the market of the ECat. The humankind urgently needs it so please please please hurry up.

    God bless you

    Marco Serra

  • Gerard McEk

    Dear Andrea,
It is good te read that things still go well with the 1MW plant and the E-cat X. I do hope with you that you will hit the finish as a real champion.
Although the 1MW plant is extremely important as a heating source, I am intrigued by the E-cat X, in particular by what it promises to enable. Would you agree that it would open the route to small motors and energy generators for vehicles and aircrafts? Would it be suitable for usage in space? Of cource it will take a while before that is possible, but I would welcome your thoughts about it.
    Kind regards, Gerard

  • Andrea Rossi

    Frank Acland:
“Working well” means that it is going far better than the previous Hot Cat, in terms of COP and in terms of other issues. Besides, it is covered by the US patent in the essentials. Anyway: too soon to give data and to consider it done. It’s still very “green”, albeit promising.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Frank Acland

    Dear Andrea,

Can you define what ‘working well’ means for the E-Cat X? Are you comparing it to your previous prototypes of the E-Cat X?

    Many thanks,

    Frank Acland

  • Andrea Rossi

    Frank Acland:
    To the domestic.
By the way: the E-Cat X is working well.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Andrea Rossi

    Paul:
    Too soon to answer.
Let us complete the tests on course, then we’ll see what we can do; surely the mass production concern ( F9) will need time before being ready to produce.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Frank Acland

    Dear Andrea,

Your guess/hope of 1-2 years for mass production of e-cats, does that refer to the industrial plants, or the domestic ones?

    Many thanks,

    Frank Acland

  • Paul

    Andrea,

So Any E-Cats you plan to sell in 2016 (F9) will not be mass produced, but hand made duplicates of the industrial design you are currently testing?

    Paul

  • Andrea Rossi

    Paul:
My best guess, without any possibility to accuse me not to have performed what I promised, since I am promising nothing, just expressing my best thought= dream: 1 to 2 years after the positive ( if any) results of the tests and R&D on course.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Paul

    Andrea,

How long will it take (best guess) to preform validation and verification for the first mass produced e-cats?

    Paul

  • Andrea Rossi

    Jim & Carol:
In your message, sent to the email of the JoNP, you asked:
How many problems did you have during these fiest 8 months of operation with the 1 MW plant and what percentage of them was due to heat?
Bedides, you said kind words of which I thank you.
    Answer:
The problems recorded in our register have been 172, so far, of which 34 due to heat.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Andrea Rossi

    Dave Robertson:
Thank you for your kind words. As for the design, you can refer to the US Patent.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Andrea Rossi

    Ing. Michelangelo De Meo:
    Thank you, very interesting replication.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Dave Roberson

Congratulations Andrea for your continual successes. I have followed your progress for several years and look forward to the time when you receive the honor that you have earned. One day all of us will benefit greatly from the seeds that you and your team are planting.

I reviewed your recent interview on the way to work and find that you and I share many common beliefs ( see the blog of http://www.ecat-thenewfire.com). Thank you for pointing out that climate change is a normal process that may or may not be mainly caused by mankind. My studies indicate that it is mostly a natural cause and I suspect that most people of scientific tendencies would come to that same conclusion if they study the true scientific data and not merely go along with the noisy newscasts.

My main reason for posting is to inquire about the mechanical design of your ECAT. I recall several years ago that you began using the rectangular core design which has numerous advantages when compared to the cylinder design being replicated by the Hotcat experimenters. Will the first product continue to use the rectangular form factor as per your patent?

Can you confirm that your latest Hotcat product residing within the shipping container also has a similar flat, rectangular core form?

    Good fortune my friend.

  • ing. Michelangelo De Meo

Hello, dr. Rossi, it has been published another interesting Russian experiment that replicated the Rossi Effect after your US Patent.

    Mariana:
Because I want first to complete the tests on course. There is a big difference between professional investors, expert of finance, and persons like a Reader of this blog: I want not to play foot-ball with the bones of the others.

    Marilou:
Any massive object, independently from his dimension and nature, is associated to a gravitational field. When a massive object feels the pull of another object the gravitational field vibrates between them. As a consequence of this fact, the pull from outside that galaxies feel, causing the expansion of the Universe, raises the suspect that something massive pulls the galaxies toward outside and this hypothesis is at the base of the assumption that a sort of matter exists outside exchanging gravitons with the galaxies.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Andrea Rossi

    Reggie:
Yes, F9. But before that the manufactiring concern will have to be made. We will sell only when and if ready for a mass production.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Reggie

    Mr Rossi:
    Congratulations for your US Patent.
If the tests on course will have a positive output will you sell the products in all Europe also?
    Reggie

  • Marilou

    Dr Andrea Rossi,
In the interview published on the blog of http://www.ecat-thenewfire.com you said that the dark matter is supposed to be the factor of the Universe expansion: can you explain better?

  • Mariana

    Dear Dr Andrea Rossi:
Why did you write that it is heavy to answer the question about when will it possible to invest in Leonardo Corporation?

  • Andrea Rossi

    Shelly:
Yes, as it has been disclosed in the US Patent.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Andrea Rossi

    Susan Poulidor:
Dr Brian Ahern has made a very good work. I always said he was the closest to a real competition with us.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Shelly

    Dr Andrea Rossi:
Congratulations for your US Patent; now your intellectual property is well shielded and protected by the US government. Can you confirm that the famous “secret ” catalyst is nickel, while the real main reactant is lithium-aluminum -hydrogen ?
    Thank you,
    Shelly

  • Andrea Rossi

    Xavier Pitz:
    Thank you for your encouragement.
