    Hello Andrea,

In evaluation of any complex system that has a high count of variable attributes, and in the associated management of effort to maximize the final product, it becomes a challenge to evaluate all dependencies …

The driving dependency of this ‘engine’ in this system of which I am describing is you! Please decrease your ‘load’ just a bit and take care of the prime motivator. I’m anxious to see you relax and peacefully enjoy your works’ growth, momentum and inertia, and to be able to discuss with the many of us and others, ‘The Real Story’ of your judicious application of correct science. Our present system of Science and Politics unfortunately represents a corrosive dependency of a galvanic process.

Please understand that I am not ‘praising you’ but rather, deeply thankful and proud of you as a representative of our humanity. In our lives Andrea we do all, fail and succeed, then strive to make our work and effort meaningful to others. Either in making or doing, or sharing to the limit of our capacity. ..And then there are those who stand out in the history of our tapestry of people on this planet, and make a unique woven thread of which although is like those next to it.. It however, has unique character and placement to bind with exceptional properties, the world within it.

Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy seeing this thread in my lifetime and its wonderful story.

    Thank you sincerely,
    Jeff Smathers

PS.. This is just a personal thank you Andrea,
    Share this as you wish.

  • Alessandro Coppi

Hi Andrea, from the observation of some experiments published of E-CAT X like reactors, assuming that some troubles come from unwanted hot spots, did you ever try to make some kind of moving to the heater respect to the fuel?

  • wsj

    Dr Rossi:
Congratulations for your US Patent, it seems fit the Paris echelons.
How to keep informed of the tests on the 1 MW plant?

  • Dear Andrea,
Can you reveal, is E-cat X unit designed to be rechargeable on customer site (as the older E-cats), or maybe one returns the reactor core back to Leonardo when its fuel is used up? I’m asking because if the E-cat X is cheap to make because of robotization (as you answered to Frank Acland), the latter approach might perhaps reduce overall costs by eliminating manual refilling, even if the amount of cargo flow which must be moved between the customer and Leonardo Corporation might increase moderately.
    regards, pekka

  • Gerard McEk

    Dear Andrea,
First I apologize for my previous comment where I confused the Ecat tigers with the Ecat X, which lead to four diappointing ‘wrongs’ from you.
    A few questions:
    1. You said you are testing 3 Ecat X at the same time. Are they all the same?
    2. Do you believe that the the power/energy density of Ecat X 1MW plant will be smaller than the existing 1MW plant with tigers?
    3. Can you give a rough estimate of the energy density (including the assembly?)
Thank you for your hard work and your willingness to answer all these questions.
    Kind regards, Gerard

  • Andrea Rossi

    Brokeeper:
It is because to control many small units orchestrated in parallel is easier than to control a big one. Besides, under the manufacturing point of view makes higher the economy scale.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Andrea Rossi

    Mickie:
A lot of work has still to be done and this is why I am working 18 hours per day.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Andrea Rossi

    Wyatt:
    Thank you!
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Andrea Rossi

    Gherardo:
I think our work will be useful to all this, if the E-Cat will obtain good results from the tests on course.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Mickie

    Dear Dr Andrea Rossi:
Are you aware of the fact that after the Paris meeting on the global warming a device as the E-Cat, that if works is the best available technology to limit the global warming induced by mankind, will become mandatory? The business you are in front of dwarfs any other existing business, in terms of importance for the mankind and of the economical consequences.
    Godspeed,
    Mickie

  • Wyatt

    Dear Andrea:
I hopre that the powerfuls of Paris have read your US Patent!!!
    Regards,
    Wyatt

  • Brokeeper

    Dear Andrea,
In response to Frank’s question, when you “the E-Cat X will be a module with a small power”, is this because of control issues with high temperatures modules; safety concerns should a runaway occur; and/or internal feedback loop limitations used to assist with input and SSM control that is not reliable with larger/powerful modules?

    With much respect,
    Brokeeper

  • Andrea Rossi

    Frank Acland:
Yes. I designed it to fit with:
    1- the US Patent allowed
2- possibility to manufacture by robootized lines. I am working together with robots to eliminate passages that can cause troubles
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Frank Acland

    Dear Andrea,

Do you anticipate the E-Cat X to be much cheaper to manufacture (in terms of $ per Watt) than previous versions of the E-Cat?

    Many thanks,

    Frank Acland

  • Andrea Rossi

    Frank Acland:
Thank you for the correction of the typo.
The basic E-Cat X will be a module with a small power ( we still have to define it).
Such modules can be assembled to reach any power level.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Andrea Rossi

    Giuliano Bettini:
Everybody is sinergycally involved in this issue.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Giuliano Bettini

    Dear Andrea,
just a guess, I do not know if it would be positive or negative:
    http://www.breakthroughenergycoalition.com/en/who.html.
Are IH / Cherokee “involved in some way”?
    Respectful greetings,
    Giuliano Bettini.

  • Frank Acland

    Dear Andrea,

You wrote: “if the E-Cat wins, both win, not true the opposite.” — I think you meant: “if the E-Cat X wins, both win, not true the opposite.”

btw, could you explain what you mean when you say that the E-Cat 1MW plant could be made up by “E-Cat X modules”? What are these modules, and how would they be used?

    Many thanks,

    Frank Acland

  • Andrea Rossi

    Jerry:
Yes, the factory is guarded by the security 24/7.
I am inside it 18 hours/day and have security also at home.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Andrea Rossi

    Juno Luci:
I agree with what he said. By the way, the global agreement upon the global warming issue is a personal success of his.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Andrea Rossi

    Rolland Hunsuch:
This is a very malicious question. Both are fundamental, for different reasons. Thinking about it, though, I understand that if the E-Cat X wins, it can make up also for the 1 MW plant, that could be made by the E-Cat X modules, while if the 1 MW Ecat wins, she cannot make up for the E-Cat X; as a consequence of this reasonong, if the E-Cat wins, bth win, not true the opposite.
This being said, I hope both win.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Andrea Rossi

    Dee Doxey:
No, we are very careful about the safety of our employees. Nobody got hurt, not even for trivial injuries, so far.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Rolland Hunsuch

    Dear Andrea
Should you have to choose necessarily between one of the two: successful output of the E-Cat X or of the 1 MW E-Cat, and unsuccessful output for the other: which one would you choose to be successful?

  • Juno Luci

    Dr Andrea Rossi
What do you think of the speech of the President Obama today at the conference on the global warming in Paris?
    Regards,
    Juno

  • Jerry

    Dr Andrea Rossi
Is the factory where the 1 MW E-Cat is in operation well protected under the security point of view?
    Are you personally protected?
    Jerry

  • Andrea Rossi

    Ing. Michelangelo De Meo:
Thank you for the update on the Paris convention.
    Warm Regards
    A.R.

  • Andrea Rossi

    Dr Joseph Fine:
Thank you for the interesting link
    Warm Regards
    A.R.

  • Dee Doxey

    Dr Rossi,
did somebody get hurt while working in the plant in operation in the factory of the customer, during these last 10 months?
    Cheers,
    DD

  • Joseph Fine

    Dear Andrea Rossi,

When the world hands you Carbon, don’t only produce Carbon Dioxide!

At North Carolina State University, another new phase of Carbon has been created/discovered.

For now, it is called Q-Carbon. (No, I don’t know why it is called Q-Carbon.)

Are there other Carbon phases that have not yet been discovered.

Soon, there will be many new theses to be written and products to be developed.

    http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2015/11/151130152005.htm

    Perhaps they will become essential.

    Q(uintessential) Regards,

    Joseph Fine

  • ing. Michelangelo De Meo

hello dr. Rossi, more and more people looking for clean energy. This time there are excellent names.

    Jouni Toumela:
    Thank you for the information
    Warm Regards
    A.R.

  • Jouni Tuomela

    Dear Andrea Rossi,
    Found this interesting:

    http://phys.org/news/2015-11-tiny-octopods-catalyze-bright-ideas.html

They experiment with tiny octopods and light.

“If you shine a light on these nanoparticles, it creates strong electric fields. Those fields enhance the catalysis, but they also report on the catalysis and the molecules present at the surface of the particles,” Ringe said.

    Best Regards, Jouni

  • Andrea Rossi

    Pekka Janhunen:
    Yes, but it didn’t fly.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Mark

    Dr Andrea Rossi,
The ” 1MW E-Cats room” conceptualized in the 3D artistic reproduction published in the website of Leonardo Corp are fascinating. Do you think we will see them for real soon?
    Cheers,
    Mark

  • viktor shipachev

    Dear Marco
Viktor Shipachev ‘s idea gave me another interesting idea, that I want to share if there is someone that is willing to try it…
A Diesel engine reaches in his cylinders high pressure and temperature, enough to ignite diesel fuel without a spark. Could a mixture of hydrogen, lithium and nikel (the latter in powder form) injected in the combustion chambers ignite or the reaction is too slow?
    Best Regards.
I recommend that you become familiar with the work on the creation of free piston engine linear generator, the Japanese or the Germans
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUbBqSu9Hdc
my idea requires the use of a mixture of argon with 10% hydrogen
    http://www.dailytechinfo.org/auto/4876-novyy-lineynyy-generator-pozvolit-suschestvenno-uvelichit-dalnost-dvizheniya-gibridnyh-avtomobiley.html
It’s almost ready reactor for the pulse of lenr

  • Dear Andrea Rossi,
Concerning your reply to Marco. A diesel indeed sounds unfeasible because of the reaction speed issue.
But as an anecdote, a coal-powered aeroplane was actually seriously studied in oil-poor Nazi Germany (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lippisch_P.13a ). The Lippisch Li-P.13a coal-powered ramjet was even meant to be supersonic.
    regards, pekka

  • Ranson

    Dr Andrea Rossi:
If the jet engine you are designing will work among its universal applications should be also the production of electric power by means of an alternator?
    Regards,
    R.

  • Andrea Rossi

    Renato:
Let them do their work, while we are doing ours. We all are fighting in synergy: we have the duty to do all that is possible to oppose the global warming cycle that the Earth seems to be approaching.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Andrea Rossi

Dave: Sorry, I got only now your comment: anyway all well so far, as I answered few seconds ago to another Reader.
This night I didn’t have time to answer the comments because quite engaged with the plant to maintain it stable.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Andrea Rossi
