    Dr Andrea Rossi:
Have you resolved the problems connected with the measurement of the temperatures by means of the spectrometer? Have you been able to shield the Ecat from external light sources?
    Cheers
    Jerry

    Dear Andrea,
Can you tell us the name of the company that will make the Ecats and install them in the industries to sell thermal energy?

  • TOUSSAINT François

    Dear Andrea Rossi,

One question please, has the E-CAT QX reached the level of maturity were no further development is neccessary ?

    Dear Andrea Rossi,

You posted in regards to the eCat SK “So far we are heating air.” Are you using natural convection or forced air to cool the eCat SK?

  • Andrea Rossi

    Eric Ashworth,
    Thank you for your insight,
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

    Harvey:
Very interesting. Thank you for the link and for your attention to our work. Nonetheless, the fact that from the hull of the Standard Model are popping out some bernacles does not mean that the ship is sinking. By the way, along the falsification theory, the bernacles could also be considered a confirmation of the S.M. validity.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

    Davide:
Actually, the employment to turn a genset could be a good match for the Ecat SK.
Thank you for your kind attention,
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Davide

I understand that the most immediate use of he Ecat SK is as a genset, coupled with an alternator, am I correct?
By the way, I read all the story on http://www.ingandrearossi.com and I think you can be considered a paradigmatic example of resiliency.
    Godspeed,
    Davide

  • Ulrich Kranz

    Dear Dr Rossi,
my congratulations for the test with the Ecat SK. Questions:
1- during the test was the heated fluid air?
2- have other mediums been used?
    Best Regards,
    Ulrich W.A. Kranz

    Dear Dr. Rossi,

I am neither a mathematician nor a particle physicist, but I felt that you might find interesting this recent article in AEON Magazine, written by a physics professor at the University of Cambridge. He discusses troubling observations at CERN related to Standard Model, saying “It looks like the centuries-long quest for top-down unification has stalled, and particle physics might have a full-blown crisis on its hands.” I know that you have much respect for the Standard Model from your answers to blog questions. I cannot imagine the impact on humanity’s understanding of reality if the Standard Model were to lose even a small part of its legitimacy. Also, the past arguments against the validity of LENR which were based on the Standard Model might need to be re-visited.

Regardless, I always have been and will continue to be an ardent supporter of your tireless endeavors to bring LENR to the benefit of all humanity and our lovely, but troubled planet.

Dear Andrea, I have just become aware that you have decided on a gas turbine to generate electricity. I realize it is early days at the moment and you have to get your business on firm foundations but when you do, you no doubt will have a research department working on improving the standard gas turbine. As you are aware turbines require stators to try and maintain a linear none turbulent flow through the body of the turbine. Stators do absorb energy and eventually wear out. If a generator is designed with an integral set-up, the flow is maintained without stators but by an integral blade design set-up. Obviously a little more complicated but the size would be smaller and the power output increased in comparison to a conventional turbine design. When you are in a position to consider such a novel set-up let me know and I shall provide you with the details free of charge. Regards Eric Ashworth

    Tom Conover:
Alas, I forgot to get a signed ( and dated ) NDA…so, those are the dramatic consequences.
Now everybody knows I am Doc. How embarassing!
Thank you for the advice, but not thank you for the sorrow from the advice,
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

    Gerard McEk:
    1- not yet
    2- not yet
3- obviously the measure of the COP is the main issue
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

    Dear Andrea,
I read in another comment that you are actively testing a gas turbine in combination with an Ecat SK.
    1. Can you tell if you have the combination already in operation for testing?
    2. You said it will be tested to generate electricity, so it is combined with a generator. Have you had this combination running already?
    3. Is the purpose of the coming test to prove that the whole combination generates more electricity than it uses?
Thank you for answering our questions. Kind regards, Gerard

  • Tom Conover

    Dear Andrea,

Did the facility that you tested the SK at sign a non disclosure agreement? It seems that somebody leaked footage of the SK test to youtube. I hope it is just a scam, but it looks exactly like you described in the blog here.

“The work on the SK is going on well.
We already built a gas turbine by used spare parts.
    More important tests are coming.”

    Stay safe,
    Tom

Dear Dr. Rossi, about the gas turbine you have already built.

Are you studying thrust, or generation of electricity by a coupled generator?

    Kind Regards,
    Italo R.

How are going the tests with the Ecat SK?

  • Ron

    Dear Dr Andrea Rossi:
Is some of the attendants of the demo you made in Stockholm at the IVA on November 24 among the clients you are going to sell the heat to?

  • Andrea Rossi

    Kris:
The global warming is a fact, but what is not proved is that the global warming has been generated from the activity of mankind. Our planet has passed through different eons during which things changed dramatically: the Sahara desert was a forest like the Amazons, Alps were under the ocean and so on. The causes are supposed, but not certain, albeit humans didn’t even exist at those times. For example such variations can depend on the displacement of the polarity due to events in the core of the Earth.
This having been said, to consider humans liable for the global warming can have a positive effect on their behavior toward the environment: from a bluff can come real money.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Kris

    Dr Andrea Rossi:
Yesterday Angela Merkel said that she is disappointed on Donald Trump because he pulled out from the climate change agreement: she said that the global warming is not a matter of faith, it is a fact. What is your opinion?
    Kris

  • Eric Ashworth

Dear Raffaele Bongo, Please accept my apology, I did not intend to confuse you. I am always open to criticism and I agree Andreas work is the main feature. I use the JONP to put forward my thoughts which otherwise would never be allowed published in main stream publications. I usually stress that they should be considered interesting considerations unless based upon facts. Regards Eric Ashworth

  • WaltC

    Dr Andrea Rossi,

Hi, I hope you and your team are well today. A couple of questions relating to reliability & repair, if I may–

    1) Since Leonardo Corp. is providing heat, rather than an actual device, does that mean that Leonardo is also responsible for maintenance and repair activities?

    2) Based on your year-long experience with the Doral plant, is it your plan to significantly improve the reliability of upcoming E-Cat plants?

    3) Do you now have on your diverse team an experienced Reliability Engineer– that is, someone experienced in failure rate analysis and the design and manufacturing of highly reliable thermal systems?

    Best wishes,
    WaltC

  • Andrea Rossi

    Patricia Boetcher:
The situation as of today is this: I cannot be 100% sure of it, but I am optimistic that we will be able to perform within that term.
Unless some negative factor will emerge.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Andrea Rossi

    Lee Krenik:
For the domestic applications the timing has not been defined yet.
    Warm Regards,

When the first Ecat domestic appliance will be available?

  • Patricia Boetcher

    Dr Andrea Rossi,
Can you confirm if the presentation of the industrialized Ecat and the start of the heat supply will hppen within December 2018-January 2019?
    Cheers,
    Patricia

    Dear Dr Andrea Rossi:
If you really will present a product by January 2019 it will be an unbelievable miracle and also evidence of the titanic work you made with your team.
    Godspeed,
    Jean Paul Renoir

  • Giuseppe

    Dear Andrea,
some time ago you wrote in a comment that the Quark core was made with semiconductor technology and methodology. Since we can always observe, based on your comments, a continuous improvement of energy density in your devices it seems that it is possible to apply them the Moore’s law, which states that the density of transistors in a semiconductor device doubles every 18 months.
Do it make sense? Can the energy output be bound with the miniaturizzation of the core or it is more linked to optimization of components, materials and the control systems.
What’s your feeling there is window for a further increase of the energy density?
    Best Regards, Giuseppe

  • Raffaele Bongo

    Dear Sir Eric Ashworth

I thank you for the explanations you give me. I am not a physicist and what you explain to me goes far beyond my understanding.
I am interested in the work of Dr. Rossi, not out of interest for physics certainly exciting but for his innovative project that if it succeeds (which I believe) will solve many of the problems that the world is currently facing.

    Best regards

    Raffaele

  • Joseph Fine

  • Tom Conover

    Dear Andrea,

Thank you for your wonderful hard work and incredible progress recently, I continue to be inspired by your progress. I had to chuckle when you said your customer “knows how to make electricity from heat”!

Your note about not finding a poem written in the drop of ink was also well stated. May you and your wonderful teams continue to be blessed with results from all your efforts.

    Repectfully,

    Tom

  • Andrea Rossi

    Dr Joseph Fine:
    Thank you, correction made.
By the way: you are invited. Please conserve this answer of mine or keep it on your cell phone as a pass. We wil publish here on the JoNP the exact date.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.
