    Dear Andrea,

You have indicated that the E-Cat SKL was repackaged from a large blue cube (November 30th 2019) into a smaller (March 18th 2020) blue cube shape (March 24th 2020).

    A. Is there a functional reason that it remains cube shape instead of changing to say cylindrical? (Say optimum heat sink shape).

    B. Is there a reason for the colour blue i.e. future colour branding, material or coating availability?

With three blue boxes so far, I am starting to wonder if you only have a supply of blue paint.

    Regards,

    Keith Thomson.

    Dear Andrea,
    Some questions, please:
    1. What makes the E-cat SK still attractive to consider maintaining it usage together with the SKL?
    2. Is the Corona lock-down still a major issue in the progress of testing?
    3. Considering all possible contracts being considered right now. How large would the production of the SKL in KW per day electric output capacity: A. 10 kW/day; B. 100 kW/day; C.1 MW/day?
    4. Assuming the lock-down is lifted this week, when do you estimate a presentation can be done?
I wish you al tot of success. Please stay healthy.
    Kind Regards, Gerard

    Dear Mr Rossi
If ECAT SKL can be regulated to provide 100% thermal energy, isn’t ECAT SK a product that is not needed?
    Best wishes

  • Marcello

    Grazie mille e buon lavoro

The organization you mention does not know the significant difference between producing and storing energy. Other sides of this picture as the difference between power-needs and energy-needs, are even more unknown to them.
The value of their insight here is zero. Selling knowledge of this field is then, just as dishonest as using someone else’s identity.

  • Andrea Rossi

    Chuck Davis:
Sorry, I want to give you an answer, also if you referred to Svein H. Vormedal:
I dissent from you, because the link you published refers to a new type of battery, which has nothing to do with the Ecat.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Chuck Davis

@Svein H Vormedal, I am familiar with this organization. They seek potentially disruptive developments and prepare reports to persuade investors to subscribe to their newsletter. I suspect that the product that they are describing is the ecat. Since Andrea has a complex in California and they probably mention the California facility rather than the Florida facility so that people would not make the connection as easily as if they had referred to the Florida facility. Even though the Leonardo Corp is not seeking public financing their report will identify other companies that will benefit from the product in which their readers can invest. My guess is that Tesla may be number one in the list. I see this as favorable for making ecat a household name because many will chase the carrot to learn who the mystery company is.

    Warm regards,
    Chuck Davis

  • Frank Acland

    Dear Andrea,

A few questions about SKL development, if you don’t mind:

    1. Why do you want to do a global presentation when you already have signed agreements with potential customers?

    2. Will the industrial customers be using the E-Cat SKL initially in consumer goods, or industrial goods?

    3. Will the industrial customers be given all the IP know-how to make their own E-Cats, or will Leonardo reserve some trade secrets?

    4. Can you say how many working E-Cat SKLs you have built so far: a) 1-5, b) 5-10, c)10-20, d) 20+

    Many thanks and kind regards,

    Frank Acland

  • Koen Vandewalle

Estimates of the ECat SKL’s performance range from a good hundred Watt / dm³ to many kiloWatt / dm³.

Perhaps it is relevant to point out a number of physical characteristics and limitations of devices with known capabilities.

A 500 Watt halogen lamp, which mainly produces heat, fits in a housing that is cooled by natural convection. That housing is at least 4 dm³ in volume. So a good 125 Watt per liter, to be able to dissipate the heat via natural convection.

A petrol engine of a very small car, with a mechanical power of 50 kilowatts, takes up a volume of about 30 dm³
Since only 30% of the energy is delivered in mechanical movement, 70% is dissipated in heat. So a heat dissipation of about 120 kilowatts is required. Water cooling and significant airflow through the radiator and through the exhaust are required. With water cooling you can of course dissipate a lot of heat. Just think of nuclear reactors of more than 2 gigaWatt. It is therefore impossible to estimate the performance of the ECat SKL on the basis of water cooling.

For comparison, a 1965 VW Beetle had an air-cooled 25-kilowatt petrol engine. This engine was estimated to have a volume of 36 dm³, and had cooling fins and a fan.
Without too much calculations, we arrive at a 500 Watt heat dissipation per dm³ in forced air-cooled applications.

So to steer us a little bit in the right direction, I would have liked to know if the ECat SKL is air cooled or water cooled, and in case of air cooling: whether forced cooling is needed or if it works with natural convection and radiation.

    Regards,

    Koen

    1. Are you still in Europe?
    2. Have some/all of your global customers known about E-cat for at
    least eight years?

If a company is convinced our technology is sci-fi, contacts with them are a loss of time. If a company with the necessary power of fire contacts us ( which means there are not negative biases ) we are always delighted to listen their request and eventually analyze the possibility of an agreement.
    Thank you for your suggestion.

    Toussaint Francois:
Yes, we need the restrictions lifted to allow tests conducted personally by the independent parties, that now can only participate by Skype, which, for obvious reasons, cannot be sufficient, and yes, I am firmly optimistic.

  • Toussaint François

    Dear Andrea Rossi,

May I ask a few questions please, to finish the third party test of the SKL, restrictions due to the “COVID” need to be lifted?

and are you optimistic to present the SKL this year?

    Kind Regards,

    Toussaint François

  • Ivan Samec

    Dear Dr. Rossi,

because there are about 40 engineering companies in our district (Ostrava, Czech Republic) and all of which would be ideal E-CAT manufacturers, I have this question for You:

For example, if your (Leonardo Corp.) partner company does not have exclusivity for the whole world or for the Europe, do You allow the possibility of licensed E-CAT production by other possible manufacturers as well?

If Your answer is Yes, I will ask the required conditions by e-mail.

Note: I have been promoting Your E-CAT in our country for years, however, most directors of relevant companies (future customers and potential manufacturers) believe that E-CAT is sci-fi. It is probably a consequence of the local distorted media and academic environment.

And one hint – Because you revealed that one of your partners is a Global (level) company, I have one hint for You:
It will be much safer for You (from an epidemiological point of view), when You request a Business Jet from Your partner Global company for transportation to Stockholm for the E-CAT launch ceremony. All Global level companies have a few BizJet aircraft for their managers and important business partners. And You are undoubtedly an important business partner. With BizJet transportation You will not be crammed with the crowd in the main hall. BizJet passengers have their own VIP entrance, which is important in actual situation.

Best Regards Ivan Samec, Czech Republic

  • Dear Andrea,
1- once the SKL verification phase has been closed, and one or more contracts have been signed with current “customers”, is the possibility of contracting others with new customers still open?
2- Are the contract or several agreed agreements referring to geographical areas (different nations or groups of nations) or are they global (referring to the whole world)?
3- Will part or parts of the SKL be produced and supplied only by Leonardo?
Thank you for what you do and for the information that you deem appropriate to release.
    Gian

    Caro Andrea,
    Gian

  • Brokeeper

    Dear Andrea,
It may be safely to assume these prospective client/investors/testers require the same highest NDA security for manufacturing the E-Cats.

In risk of being the slowest brick in the pile, I have these questions:
    1. Are these companies not just capable of but also will begin to manufacture the E-Cats for themselves and distribution throughout their regions?
    2. If so, was it also a safer consideration to scatter these many global companies because of their respective understanding of its region’s IP patent law’s and in a better position to monitor and enforce those laws?
    With much respect,
    Brokeeper

  • Andrea Rossi

    Daniel G. Zavela:

Several agreements already have been signed.
    Warm Regards,

  • Dear Dr. Rossi,

Glad the independent testing is going well.
    Questions:
1- Did you design the test method or did your clients?
2- What is the defines a “Successful Test”?
3- What is the agreed upon target as to when the independent testing will be complete?

Having been through an independent testing process myself, I know these can be a very tense and emotionally demanding time for you.

I wish you the best of good luck.

    Best Regards,

    Daniel G. Zavela

    Hello Dr Rossi !
    Studying your paper
    http://www.researchgate.net/publication/330601653_E-Cat_SK_and_long_range_particle_interactions
the fact that the theory at the base of the Ecat SKL is not in the field of application of the second thermodynamic principle implies that the application point of it is the point zero energy.
How fascinating the plasma sphere we can watch at on
    http://www.ecatskdemo.com
Thanks for the profound information you gave us: the number of the readers of your paper is stunning and speaks for the importance of your theoretical contribution.
    All the best,
    J.S.
