Apologies for my previous ambiguous question, Doctor Rossi

In addition to those parts which are expected to get warmer or hotter than ambient, during operation of the eCat, have you found any evidence of parts or areas which become cooler than ambient?

Thanks in advance, good wishes for success

    Cordiali Saluti

    @WaltC:

    My suggestion is:
    E-Cat -> Superstring Conversion
Indeed, there is still a gap between string theory and quantum theory, but in my opinion it is this gap which makes it so difficult to understand.

    Best regards
    Wilfried

  • Dear Andrea,
Concerning the issue of the energy source, one point of view is the question whether or not Casimir forces are conservative. I seem to find only one paper explicitly discussing this issue (DeBiase, R.L., Are Casimir forces conservative?, Phys. Procedia, 38, 18-33, 2012, https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1875389212024960/pdf?md5=d61ed91f47323fd7a053f4d09fa35d46&pid=1-s2.0-S1875389212024960-main.pdf&_valck=1). The author leaves the question unanswered.

Already in 1984, Robert Forward (Extracting electrical energy from the vacuum by cohesion of charged foliated conductors, Phys. Rev. B30, 1700-1702, 1984, https://journals.aps.org/prb/abstract/10.1103/PhysRevB.30.1700) proposed a thought experiment how Casimir force could be harnessed to do work by using a capacitor stack with net positive (or negative) charge that nearly cancels the attractive Casimir force between the plates. In 1993, Cole and Puthoff came to the conclusion that extracting energy from vacuum in systems like these should be in principle possible (Cole, D.C. and H.E. Puthoff, Extracting energy and heat from the vacuum, Phys. Rev. E 48, 1562, 1993, http://calphysics.org/articles/CP93.pdf ). (This paper you have seen already earlier.)

If the Casimir force could be turned on and off, extracting energy could go like this: one lets the Casimir force pull together a cluster of electrons, then turn it off whence the cluster explodes by its Coulomb repulsion, and repeat the cycle. This would be an example of a non-conservative Casimir force field. Non-conservative Casimir forces would seem to enable a quantum perpetuum mobile.

    regards, /pekka

    Dear Andrea Rossi,

I was watching an old television program of Star Trek Next Generation and I noticed the same blue glow from the Enterprise nacelles as that coming from the eCat SKL. More proof that your power source involves dilithium crystals.

  • Andrea Rossi

    WaltC:
If someone wanted to buy an Ecat the last question that he should ask would be ” which is the energy source ” ?
And, yes, my answer in that case would be ” If you are interested to this, you can read
    http://www.researchgate.net/publication/330601653_E-Cat_SK_and_long_range_particle_interactions
I do not have an answer like the ones you listed, also because our source is much more complex and anomalous if referred to the other existing systems.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Andrea Rossi

    sandy r:
Sorry, I did not understand your question: can you kindly rephrase it ?
    Warm Regards,

  • Andrea Rossi

    Frank Acland:
Both, depending on the specific situations,

    Dr Rossi,

Even though the underlying science might be complex, it’s possible to describe the power sources of often complex, modern-day, self-powered objects quite concisely:

    – Nuclear Submarine –> Nuclear Reactor — Nuclear Fission Reactions
    – Electric Vehicle –> Batteries — Chemical Reactions
    – SpaceX Merlin 1 Engine –> LOX/Kerosene Propellant — Chemical Reactions
    – Voyager 1 –> Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generator — Alpha Decay — Nuclear Fission Reactions
    – The Sun –> Nuclear Fusion Reactions

So my question– For example, if someone wanted to buy an “E-cat SKL-Powered, Portable Genset”, would you expect the concise description of its power source to be:

    a) “Read Rossi’s 17,000 word science paper, ‘E-Cat SK and long-range particle interactions’ “?
    b) “Rossi-Effect Reactions” (Hoping that eventually the phrase will become well understood)?
    c) Something else– that you can say now?
    d) Something else– that you will say later?

Best Regards to you and your team,
    WaltC

    Greetings Doctor Rossi

(And thank you for previous answers!)

I realise that there will be heat generated at various locations in your eCat assemblies, but have you detected any evidence of cooling in or near the devices?

Thanks in advance, and all good wishes for a successful outcome

  • Frank Acland

    Dear Andrea,

For the first products, will the E-Cat SKL’s control system be on site, or will it be operating the E-Cat remotely?

    Many thanks,

    Frank Acland

    KeithT:
    No: if you read
    http://www.researchgate.net/publication/330601653_E-Cat_SK_and_long_range_particle_interactions
and go to the “Conclusions” there you find a synthesis of the different theoretical threads.
See also Reference 14 in the same publication.

    Dear Andrea,

Do you believe that only a Zitterbewegung model of the electron can explain the sequence of events between the initial electrical signal input and the final electrical output?

    Dear Dr Andrea Rossi,
    from what I understand in
    http://www.researchgate.net/publication/330601653_E-Cat_SK_and_long_range_particle_interactions
the primary source of energy in the Ecat SKL derives from the Zitterbewegung of electrons: am I correct ?

Thanks a lot for your work….

  • Robert Dorr

    Dear Andrea,

It is great to read that the testing and licensing has been proceeding positively and rapidly. A question, if I may. Have any of the companies that have licensed your SKL produced test units that have operated properly, without any input from you other than the knowledge that was transferred to them in the initial licensing agreement? Also does licensing include the licensees production of the SKL control unit?

I wish you great success in your endeavor to produce, what will surely be one of the most earth changing, energy producing products that mankind has ever been witness to.

    Sincerely,

    Robert Dorr

Please find what I have to say about this issue in paragraph 3 of
    http://www.researchgate.net/publication/330601653_E-Cat_SK_and_long_range_particle_interactions
I think creation-annihilation of virtual charges pairs happen, but I am not sure that this fact is the main cause of the effect.

  • Wilfried Babelotzky

    Dear Andrea,

I suggest you set up a non-profit foundation with a community that will decide on the further development of the E-Cat. In this way you can withdraw a little from responsibility and still accompany your life’s work. If at all possible, all future E-Cat developments should not suffer from patent trolls and still capture and integrate global creativity. Anything that slows down rapid dissemination and rapid further development should be avoided.

Even if, as I suspect, it goes against your own humble personality – please make sure that the historiography adequately recognizes and respects your person, your perseverance and ultimately your success. It is absolutely appropriate to mention your name along with Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein, Nicola Tesla and other well-deserved scientists in energy and electrical engineering.

    Best regards
    Wilfried

  • Bill Conley

    Andrea,

It appears from your answers over the last couple of weeks that your multiple license agreements have no restrictions on the products or applications to which the partner-produced SKLs will be put or the geographical areas in which they can be sold. Is this correct?

    Thanks,

    Bill

    Dear Dr. Rossi,

After many iterations you have created your masterpiece and I do not doubt that you will continue your research. You seem to be more confident of the licensee, but what will happen when the licensee himself can make improvements or additonal features so that a reactor of the licensee is superior to or different from those that will be produced at Leonardo, making them redundant:
    – new x-catalyst
    – less heat generation (cooling?)
    – more compact
    – better reliability
    – cheaper
    – greater industrial capacity (for energy facilities)
    – small mini capacity (e.g. for laptops, wrist watches)
    – …

I hope your invention is completely safeguarded now…

    Exciting times, success!

    Brice

  • Gerard McEk

    Dear Andrea,
The developments regarding market introduction for the Ecat seem to accelerate. We are all very hopeful to see the first Ecat-product on the market soon.
No. doubt exiting times for you too!
    Some questions, if I may:
    1. Your Partner, that has been licensed to produce Ecat SKL’s, have they already made a working Ecat?
    2. Has more than 1 Partner been licensed yet?
    3. If not, do you expect to license other parties soon?
    4. When do you hope that the first Ecat driven product comes to the market? a: this year, b next year, c: in two years?
    5. Has all testing been finished yet?
    6. Are you still happy by what has been tested so far?
    Great success!
    Kind regards, Gerard

  • Italo R.

    Dear Dr. Rossi,

I would have liked to see your partner’s reaction during the first demonstration of the ecat skl.

When the initial disbelief and skepticism turned into the wonder of seeing a “miracle”.

And then during the subsequent checks and tests, when they realized how lucky they were to be able to use, develop, apply the ecat.

And they became aware of the historic revolution for mankind.

    Kind Regards,

    Italo R.

  • Chris

    Dear Andrea,

is the device Leonardo Corp is going to build an energy generator?
Is it for domestic or industrial?

If it is not an energy generator – can you share what kind of device it will be? A heater?

    Warm regards,

    Chris

  • Iggy Dalrymple

    Dear Dr Rossi,
Do you give any of your licensees exclusive privilege for a particular application (for example licensee is guaranteed that only they can use E-Cat for powering remote cell towers for a period of time)?
    Best Regards,
    Iggy

  • Dear Andrea,

Congratulations with the huge achievements you have made this year.
The specs you have revealed so far are incredible.

    Some questions.

    1. Will your partner produce ecat units in mass?
    2. When will they start?
    3. When can products be expected on the market? 2021?
    4. Will the ecat units be used for their own products, or are they intended for products made by others?
    5. Are there other manufacturers envisioned?
    6. Will Leonardo also produce units?
    7. Can we expect a presentation of you in Q1 of 2021?

    Thanks for your answers.
