    Hi Andrea.

Just a thought will your e-cat SKLed come with an energy label?

    If current LED’s are A+++

I guess they are going to have to invent a new one.

    How a bout. A ++++++++++++++++++++….+++++++++ ?

    Best Regards

    Stephen.

    Dear Dr. Rossi

Lumens are units of visible light flux. The eye is most sensitive to green light at a wave length of 555 nm where 1 watt of light gives 683 lumens of visual flux.

Luminous efficiency of a electrically driven light source is measured in Lumens out (visible light) / Watts in (electrical).

Since the human eye’s sensitivity to white light is always less than it is for green light, the theoretical luminous efficiency of a white light LED is between 0 and 683 lumens per watt depending upon the visual spectrum.

A white light LED with an optimized spectrum has a theoretical luminous efficiency of about 300 Lumens output / Watt input

Typically a white light LED produces about 0.5 watt of visible light / watt of input power with the remaining power dissipated as heat. Therefore the luminous efficiency of an optimized white light LED is about 150 Lumens output (visible light) / Watt input (electrical).

Clearly for the E-Cat SKLed to have “orders of magnitude” greater luminous efficiency it must have a high energy gain (COP).

    Question 1 Do you agree?

For the E-Cat SKLed to save enough money relative to existing white LEDs to get a 1 year payback on investment, the E-Cat SKLed would need to have an over unity energy gain in watts output (visible light) / watts input (electrical)

    Question 2 Do you agree?

Question 3 Is the energy gain of the E-Cat SKLed > 4 watts output (visible light) / watt input (electrical)?

    Dear Andrea,
I made a pre-order in January 2012 to buy an ECAT Home Unit.
Will my previous order for an ECAT Home Unit remain or will it be “converted” to a pre-order of an ECAT SKLed?
I would like to keep my previous pre-order on an ECAT Home Unit (which hopefully soon be possible?) and make a new pre-order on an ECAT SKLed. It is possible?
    Kind Regards
    P

The most important paper related to the Ecat is
    http://www.researchgate.net/publication/330601653_E-Cat_SK_and_long_range_particle_interactions
The text that has inspired it is
“Maxwell-Dirac Theory and Occam’s Razor: Unified Field, Elementary Particles, and Nuclear Interactions”, by Giorgio Vassallo et Al., Amazon Books- 2019, second edition on course of publication. This book is very important, starting from the cover.
You can use the rich list of references cited in these publications to find a wide spectrum of related papers and books.

    Dear Dr Rossi,
Prior to announcing your new SKLed lamps you mentioned that the SKL was particularly well suited for resistance loads. I’m thinking that other good “niche products” would be water heaters, countertop cooking ovens, and countertop cook-stoves. An SKL powered air-heater that could be inserted into a home’s central A/C ducting would be a best seller.
    Best Regards,
    Iggy

  • Paul

Will there be a 12V powered E-Cat SKLed?

  • Wilfried Babelotzky

    Dear Andrea,

I would like to make you a suggestion for the further development of the E-Cat. I had this idea in connection with the E-Cat SKLed:
Concentrate entirely and exclusively on the E-Cat and its mass production and leave out all other technologies.
Develop a current amplifier with 5V input voltage and 5V output voltage, which amplifies input currents by a factor of 10, if possible with an efficiency of over 90% and a maximum output current of 10A.
This module should be as flat as possible and then have a maximum waste heat of 2.5W. It would be ideal if the current amplifier could also handle a frequency of a few kilohertz.
With such a module in a maximally inexpensive mass production, you could scale the production quantity towards infinity for human understanding :-), because it would be completely universally applicable, from smartphone supply to rocket propulsion.
When I read what’s coming with the SKLed, it doesn’t seem impossible to me.
Perhaps after the official introduction you will enter into a cooperation with the semiconductor industry to miniaturize by a factor of 100, 1000 or even 10000. The reactor could be only a few micrometers in size and integrated into one chip by the millions.

    Best regards
    Wilfried

  • Brice

    Dear Dr. Rossi,

I very much believe your story of the The Treccani. I had more or less similar experiences with my dictionary. It happened several times that I opened my dictionary without any reason and pointed a random word with my finger. I read the word and closed the dictionary. The same day or the next day the teacher asked in the class room what the word I looked up meant! I couldn’t know that he would ask this. I do not understand how such a thing can be explained.

It has already – more or less – been mentioned, there is a big difference in the colour quality of LED light. For example, very efficient light is perfect for industrial lighting, but less for domestic lighting and photo / video because the colour quality is usually lower then. A blue LED with a yellow phosphor makes white light (‘opponent colours’), but a large portion of deep red light is missing. As a result, skin tones are rendered unattractively pale… while many colours look different than in sunlight. For this reason, various methods for measuring the colour quality of light have been developed: CRI/Ra/TLCI/TLMF/TM-30/SSI. Would you like to measure the light spectrum of the SKLed with your spectrometer and display it on the day of presentation? Buyers will then know the best application for this type of lighting.

    With kind regards,

    Brice

  • Italo R.

    Dear Dr. Rossi,

It is possible to make ECat SKLed autonomous (without connecting it to the 220VAC network) by feeding it with 220 VAC power from the output of a DC / AC converter powered by batteries.
Do you think it can be done?
If so, it would be a great thing to show this system at the presentation.

    Kind Regards,

    Italo R.

    Hello Dr. Rossi,

My name is Lauren and I was recently introduced to this Ecat catalyst by my uncle. I teach science and am very interested in learning more about your technology and perhaps introduce this to my engineering students. Besides your published paper, do you have any recommendations (books or other articles) I should read to have a better understanding of this technology? Thank you.

    Regards,
    Lauren C.

    Dear Andrea,

Portable power is growing in importance, for recreational, outdoor, and emergency uses, and many products now are battery operated instead of cord connected (e.g. I have a battery powered chainsaw)

Would the E-Cat SKL be suitable for a battery charger that people who do not have a grid connection, so they can power their portable devices?

    Kind regards,

    Frank Acland

    Rainer:
As I said, we are proceeding also with the Ecat SKL to generate heat and electricity,
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Rainer

    Dear Mr. Rossi,
congratulation for your first product. Unfortunately i rather do not need such a floodlight in my home, the lights which i use consume just 6-7 Watt/h. But i wait for the data-sheet..
Are the next product already in the development? What i really would need is electric heating, a boiler for heating water, cooking (hotplate/glass-ceramic). This are at the same time the things with the highest energy consumption in households.
    Warm regards
    Rainer

    Dear Dr. Rossi,

    a) The characteristic of the electrical output of your technologies is so much “dirty” (totally chaotical) that the electrical output is unusable to power electric motors or do you have another problem, why the electrical output is unusable for powering electric motors?

    b) At the planned presentation, where you will present E-Cat SKLed, will you also present a heater powered by your technology?

    With Best Regards

  • Steven N. Karels

    Dear Andrea Rossi,

    I asked “Dear Andrea Rossi,

The LED lamp coupled with an eCat-SKL device within a single cube shaped enclosure, dose that cube also contain the controller?

Or, is there one or more controllers that control a large number of the cubes?” and you answered “Yes”.

Are you adverse to compound questions? Do I need to do a direct examination on you and ask the same question multiple times, in multiple ways?

    1. I take it there is a controller built-into the Cube? Yes or No?
    2. Can an external Controller connect to multiple cubes? Yes or No?
    3. Can a cube, which has a controller in it, accept control signals from an external source, other than turning applied power on or off? Yes or No?
    4. Can the controller, internal or external, dim the illumination coming from the cube? Yes or No?
    5. Can the controller, internal or external, change the color of the light emitted from the cube? Yes or No?

No more questions for this witness. (LOL)

A Future Application for the E-Cat SKL in 3rd World Countries

From the beginning of my enthusiasm for LENR, to excitement over the first E-Cats, to amazement at the picometric universe of the Casimir force, I have been praying for you.

We see lots of fights ahead, but also many benefits. Yes, use the E-Cat SKLed to finance a universe of improvements and changes, but do not forget the native, far from power, who must burn dung or coal to heat and cook in primitive conditions. An E-Cat or two powering a few microwave ovens in a village will go centuries towards improving health and survival. Healthy populations tend to rein in unhealthy population growth.

On the same general subject, are the unusual frequency quirks of the current plasma-cat unsuitable for powering microwave ovens? An E-Cat -powered microwave? This would an extremely beneficial publicity “stunt” that be welcomed and partially funded by many mission groups operating in those countries-with little governmental interference.
Early in the nickel-Lithium-hydrogen of my LENR enthusiasm, I wondered if the thermal energy required to kick off the reaction could be supplied by adiabatic compression. Subject the cell to an extreme, almost instantaneous vacuum to withdraw gasses attracted to the nickel surface, purge and recharge with a whiff of hydrogen, then plunge more hydrogen into the space with a piston able to concentrate the compression energy inside the cell.

I, an Engineer, am still fascinated with the possibilities of this admittedly cruder and more thermal technology. Has development in this area (earlier E-Cat) totally ceased?
Thanks in advance for any reply, even much belated.

    Dear Andrea,

Pre-selling 1 million skleds is a huge challenge. It cannot be done without a good marketing plan, marketing material, a slick website, videos of the product in operation and generating a viral network effect on the internet.

    1. When do you plan to have this marketing material ready?

    2. How much time are you allowing yourself to pre-sell 1 million units?

    Brightest regards,
    Patrick

    Caro Andrea: CONGRATULAZIONI !

    Cari saluti,
    Franco

    Dear Andrea: CONGRATULATIONS!
The sale of an eCat is the historic event that many expected for the end of the year.
In this month the basic characteristics and the price will be presented.
I think this is the most beautiful of all the Easter eggs you can get.

Of course, I will order some eCat-SKLeds for my garden as soon as possible. For the interior of the house I will wait for the ‘warm light’ model that will surely follow.
As far as I understand from your answer, I will still remain on the domestic eCat list when it becomes available.

Congratulations again on the important announcement.
    Warm regards,
    Franco

    Dear Andrea,

Thank you for sharing your very inspiring epiphany. When considering all the factors: time, space, inspirational thought, etc. leading to your discovery, the chance you would open to the exact page at the right time is not 1 in 60,000 but 1 in infinity. ‘Occam’s Razor’ dictates this is not by coincidence, superstition, or scientific process but by faith derived from another book of truth other than the Treccani.

As you know, “Occam’s razor is the principle that, of two explanations that account for all the facts, the simpler one is more likely to be correct. It is applied to a wide range of disciplines, including religion, physics, and medicine (or combination).”

I sincerely believe that all that you have experienced, suffered, and fought throughout your life and with the prayers of many are the direct result of providence. This with your knowledge, persistence, faith, and “unbelievable” discoveries, not excluding your amazing, devoted team, have brought your dream to reality. Dream on, my friend.

    With much respect,
    Brokeeper

    Dear Andrea,
    Great news!
Will ECAT SKLed be a product from Leonardo Corp where the LED part is delivered by your partner as a subcontractor?
Or will Leonardo Corp be a subcontractor to the manufacturer of the LED lamp?
    Kind regards
