    Dear Andrea Rossi:
Which is the alternative energy source ( not considering the LENR ) that you consider more important presently ?
    Trinity

  • Reyes Shangraw

    Dear Andrea:
Mats Lewan has written a fantastic book about your invention ( ” An impossible invention ” ): I have read it three times. Is there any other book you can suggest about your work ?
    Thank you,
    Reyes

  • Andrea Rossi

    Glynis Laneaux:
No, I think that until the R&D on course has been completed is better to make epochè every day.
I am just working strongly on it, that’s all I can say.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

    Birdie:
I am very, very sceptic about that. The connection between LENR and dark matter sounds pretty much shaky…

    post by Axil_Axil on ECW:

2016 will be the year that something huge will be reveled about the fundamental workings of nature, that wonderful revelation is LENR. LENR is responsible for dark energy and dark matter.

    Dott.Rossi,
reading aerospace magazines I found that DARPA has awarded a contract for a VTOL aircraft to be powered by a turbine engine attached to 3 electrical generators that drive 24 electric motors with propellers. The project is VTOL X-Plane (VXP) and selected Aurora Flight Sciences’ LightningStrike
They say… “The whole system (engine + generators) takes less than 3,000 lb. to generate 3 megawatts and fly to 10,000-15,000 ft.—that’s 1 kW/lb.” In addition there are about 3000 lb of fuel.
How would you rate a solution with e-cat in terms of power density (kW/lb)?
What could be a reasonable number for e-cat in experimental planes?
    Thanks, Gherardo

  • Andrea Rossi

    Jean Pierre:
    1- only for the engineering
2- not yet, before ordering we need to complete the R&D on course
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Dear Andrea,
    Two questions if I may.

    1) Have you actually placed an order for a robotic device to assist with mass production?

    2) If the answer to the first question is yes, has one (or more) of these devices been installed in the relevant factory?

Thanks again for answering all the questions of your many fans.

    Jean Pierre.

    Gerard McEk:
The radiations have always been measured and no radiation above the background have ever been measured in 6 years.
The cause of weight, so far, is thought to be caused by tiredness for excessive physical effort. Obviously my doctors have ordered a complete list of analysis and scopies.

    Henry Ethancourt:
He,he,he…with that sales network we are in good paws!
    Speaking seriously:
Also UK manufacturing rights have been conserved by Leonardo Corporation and will not be licensed. Leonardo Corp is not going to grant further licenses of any kind.

Yes, I dream to go to make make the Vasaloppet and to ski on the Rocky Mountains, but I have to stay here, we must put the E-Cat quarkX in operation as soon as possible.
Thank you for your very kind care.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Henry Ethancourt

    Dear Dr. Rossi,

I have received info from a well-informed friend in the UK that we can now put faces on the complany profile that will handle production and sales of the E-CAT in the UK (link below). This is very exciting news indeed!

Do take care of yourself Andrea Rossi. I think we all want to see you achieve your goals in good health. I see the with pleasure those updated banners on the journal of science with pictures of green an nature. After a year or so working intensely in a container I think you deserve some time outside in the green. Is there some where special you like to go in nature? may be a beautiful garden or national park where you dream to go and visit? I think you deserves some time in a beautiful place. When I was young and full of work and ideas my parents used to take us on holidays shortly before an intense activity. It helped somehow as I came back rested and evenmore inspired. Your work continues to be amazing and inspires as all. Wishing you the best of health, good times in nature, and a good recovery in these inspiring times.

  • Gerard McEk

    Dear Andrea,
Your latest remark about your health has made many of your followers very concerned. We all hope with you that it is nothing serious and that you will soon be back to your normal weight.
There has been a lot of speculations on ECW and elsewhere that some kind of radiation may be the cause. Would you think that this is possible that during the development of the E-Cat you may have been exposed to radiation?
Would you recommend replicators to take sufficient precautions against radiation?
Please take care and listen to your body!
Good health and kind regards, Gerard

  • Alexvs

    Dear Mr. Rossi

I told you so: Your health is the most valuable thing you will ever possess.

  • Dan C.

    Dear Andrea,

I continue to observe the E-cat progression.

E-cat X, 1kW design, about the size of a cigarette.
For this, R&D of a new high temp ceramic, but also to be very Thermal Shock proof/resistant to allow fast start up.

Now the E-cat Quark, 100W design. Very small.
    Maybe something like this:
    http://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/Qj0AAOxyeR9THwOC/s-l300.jpg
    Or This:
    http://www.gordonelectricsupply.com/tsimages/GOLDSHE00282_C13_PE_001.jpg

    Mounted in something like this:
    https://img0.etsystatic.com/041/0/7749462/il_214x170.655947472_ak02.jpg

You do not refuel Quarks. The individual Quark can be manufactured for a few dollars each like a ceramic fuse. You change them like a fuse and exchange the used quarks for replacements. The used Quarks are returned for recycling of materials and spent fuel. Cradle to Cradle…

This all leads up to my 1 Question.
Are you now able to achieve the goal of taking a Quark from room temperature to full operation within a couple minutes?

    Warm regards,
    Dan C.

    Jed Orwell:
I continue to lose weight and we do not understand why. As I said, the 16 -18 hours per day for 352 days and nights in the plant came at a price. I am going to make a lot of “scopies” you name one, I scope it, but I feel well and work my 12 hours per day on my E-Cats; today another important loophole with the E-Cat quark-X.
Anyway: yes, I am ready to pass to my Team all the skills necessary to make without me, just in case. But I never in my life worked as well as I am doing during these days. Obviously, the faster we go, the better. While the horse is good, better ride him.
    F9.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

    Dear Dr Andrea Rossi:
How are going your clinic check ups ?
We need you. If something goes wrong, is there people able to go on without you?
    God bless you,

    Christopher Calder:
    Thank you for your suggestion.
    Theoretically it is possible.

The registered trade mark is E Cat and it will remain for all our products, followed by a suffix, like Q or X or HT or LT etc.
About mass media: not an issue.
About nuggets: I’ll see what I can do.
Thank you for all the time you spend on the rooftop for me!

    Dear Dr. Andrea Rossi,

With the impending ERV report due soon (F9), and with the many replications of the Rossi Effect by several different groups, more and more people are becoming aware of, and extremely interested in your E-Cat, E-Cat X, and E-Cat X Quark. I have been shouting from my rooftop to my family and friends about the impact your E-Cats will have on their lives.

    I have a few questions:

    • Since you are ramping up manufacturing of your E-Cat, what will be the actual name that Leonardo Corp. will use to market (and trademark) the reactors? Will it be ‘E-Cat X,’ ‘E-Cat X Quark,’ or other? While I am shouting from my rooftop, I want to make sure I am shouting the correct name.
    • Have there been inquiries from major news outlets that are interested in reporting about your E-Cats? Can we expect to read or watch a story about E-Cats in the near future?
    • Without disclosing anything that can disrupt the production of the reactors, can you share any nugget of new information (e.g., minor or major features) about your reactors that isn’t widely known to the general public? The community that follows you and your E-Cats are excited and anxiously awaits ANY morsel of news that comes from you.

    With warm regards,
    –Rod

  • Dear Mr. Rossi,

Would it be possible to construct a 250 kilowatt E-Cat X reactor module that uses steel casing rather than alumina, and that is designed to run at a maximum operating temperature of 650 degrees C? Could such a rector be made to produce both DC electricity directly and simultaneously produce electricity the old fashioned way through a heat engine? Wouldn’t such a system be safe, stable, and cost effective since it uses a lower operating temperature and construction materials that have been proven to hold up very well for decades at those temperatures? I would think that as you would be continuously sucking energy out of the reactor in the form of DC current, that would give you yet another moderating control factor that would make the reactor very stable and reliable. Forgive me if my question is totally naive.

    Sincerely, Christopher Calder

  • Andrea Rossi

    Frank Acland:
I am sorry, but the characteristics of the E-Cat X will be given only when we will be ready with a product, even if applied to an industrial plant.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Frank Acland

    Dear Andrea,

Can you tell us the size of the Quarks you are working with?

    Many thanks,

    Dear Andrea,
Do you think that an industrial E-Cat working with the E-Cat – Xquark will be in operation in 2016 ?

  • Fulco Rob

    Dr Andrea Rossi,
Which is the Country in which you think you will work most in the next 5 years ?
    Fulco

  • Andrea Rossi

    Lars:
Honestly, I do not think this case will be an issue, since the Customers will want to use all of them. Not to use light and heat will not be an issue, though, many simple systems can be adopted.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Andrea Rossi

    Dr Joseph Fine:
Yes, you are right. That’s one of the advantages.

    Pavel Dubcek:
In this period I work 100% on the E-Cat X, in the quark version. Today we made a fantastic progress with the microprocessors that will regulate the assemblies.
The operation is still very promising.

    Tuder:
You are too fast for me.
Let us complete the R&D on course, then we’ll make a product, then we’ll deal with the problems that eventually will be raised.
Instead of leaps, let’s make step by step.

  • Joseph Fine

    Dear Andrea Rossi,

Do “Quarks” operate in the same temperature range as previous 1-KW E-Cat X units?

Is one of the reasons for developing smaller E-Cat X modules because heat can be removed more efficiently?

That is, a “Quark” would have a higher “Q-dot”, or heat transfer rate, because it has a higher surface area to volume ratio.

Neglecting end faces, a cylinder has a surface area-to-volume ratio of about 2/R (while a sphere has a surface to volume ratio of 3/R). R is the radius. Assuming constant total volume, more heat can be extracted if the total surface area is multiplied. Dividing an E-Cat X into smaller modules would definitely increase surface area.

    Thermal regards,

    Joseph Fine

  • Lars

When you use the E-Cat X in a situation where you only want electricity how do you handle the heat and light?
Will your modules have switches for each function?

  • tuder

    Ave Doctor,
    sperator te salutat.
Ecat, robotics, artificial intelligence, nanotechnology, new materials, and others all (F9) converging towards a tipping point. Humanity might make a “quantic” leap in technology development over the next 10 years. Do you think that humanity as is would be able to handle such leap? The risk that I see is that humanity cannot adapt to such a fast change and we end up with a sort of technology dictatorship – where technology progress will be the ultimate foundation of human society, the ultimate metric of performance for humanity. People will think that technology can answer all needs of mankind. Just curious to have your opinion on this. Readers familiar with Jacques Ellul will understand what I mean.

  • Dear Andrea,

    1. Is it difficult to simulate a physical model of the E-Cat with computers?
    2. Have you used computers as an aid in prototyping?

    All the best,
    Mattias

  • Ing. Michelangelo De Meo

    Hello dr . Rossi,
it seems that the Chinese professors have obtained the excess heat , I report the conclusion and the link. Another replication of the Rossi Effect.
The translation from Chinese to English maybe quite shaky, though.
    “Conclusion:
The experimentally observed abnormal exothermic phenomenon nickel and lithium aluminum hydride fuel exothermic process maintained for 150 minutes wall of the container inserted thermocouples 40-50 degrees higher than the temperature of the thermocouple is installed between the container and the furnace is expected produces 100 watts of excess heat , excess heat and 100 watts of input power 682w ratio produced 0.14 . Abnormal heat generation is 5MJ. The maximum possible energy yield of the chemical reaction is 36kJ, abnormal chemical energy than the energy generated by two orders of magnitude higher . How to further improve the heat generated by the reaction is the follow-up work to be carried out , the experiment will continue.
Acknowledgements This work is under the China Institute of Atomic Energy, Song Jiang , a teacher ‘s guidance , grateful”
