Hello Dr Rossi
Thank you for giving your potential customers more confidence about the COP of the miniSKLep to tell us that you measure 300 Lux from a similar LED and eCat
Could you confirm for us, please:-
a) what distance is your Luxometer from the LED?
b) is this reading taken from just 1 LED with 1 miniSKLep, like the live stream?
On your Mini-SKLep ongoing demonstration, the applied voltage is approximately 10 VDC. Is there a reason why it is not 12 VDC, which I understand is the nominal input voltage for SKLep operation?

Dear Andrea Rossi,
I like the new website it has everything in one spot. I did have a thought on the picture of two E-cat SKLep. I know it’s what is inside that counts but, I think an enclosure that is more industrial looking would be better. A round plastic enclosure doesn’t look like something that would power homes and businesses but once again its what is inside that counts.
Thank you

If you can re-invent them, you can try to patent them, because as far as I know there was never a patentapplication due to overheating with both of them. But you who have invented the cold E-Cat might be the right person to solve the overheating problem.
Earlier in a reply to Valerie Gauriat that the Lamp is radiating 300 Lux.
Although not directly an SKLEP data point this is interesting and welcome update for those who are curious about the light out put.
Since lux is lm per m^2 would you be able to indicate the distance from the lamp it was measured. If we assume a 120 degrees beam angle we could then estimate the the surface area illuminated and then the Lumens at 56cm it would be about 1m^2 I think. So 300 lm.
Anyway I think your “conservative estimate” of the W output is already a good indicator.
Mr. Rossi
I understand that grounding the E-catSKLep is part of the secret. Nevertheless, I dare to guess a solution without grounding. Grounding could be omitted if a virtual ground were created. This means a balanced supply with a virtual earth center conductor.

Dr. Rossi, the names of standards change over the years, but the concept remain the same. IoT (the Internet of Things) is, of course, the ability to control devices remotely in smart homes. Some employ Amazon’s Alexa, Apple’s Siri and other voice sevices. A general background on the new capabilties for IoT protocol Matter can be found here: https://www.wired.com/story/what-is-matter/
Dear readers of the JoNP,
“And now for something completely different.”
This comment is not directly related to the Ecat, but if the reports I am reading turn out to be accurate, the developments discussed below will have substantial consequences for human health, potentially affecting all of us.
Studies are being done on the effects of supplementing diets with BOTH N-acetylcysteine and glycine. An early study was done on ’50-year-old’ mice. This supplementation was found to very dramatically improve many health biomarkers that are well known to deteriorate considerably with age. In many cases the biomarkers in the mice were returned to, or nearly to, those of ’25-year-old’ mice.
Given these results, a very small, NIH-funded, randomized controlled trial was done in humans. The results were similar. When started at age 71, quite a few of the biomarkers were returned to, or nearly to, those typical of 25-year-old humans.
Next they went back and did another test in mice to determine if this ‘treatment’ lengthened their lifespan. It did. It was reported that it extended mice lifespan by 24%!!! Of course, were that to be applicable to humans (for many reasons such studies will never be done in humans) it would extend human lifespan by about 20 years.
Naturally, I neither expect nor wish for anyone to take my word for this. Please make up your own mind. But the numbers below provide access to the abstracts of the papers I am aware of that have reported some of these results. To access them just go to the Pubmed website, and enter a paper’s number in the search window. Four of the papers are also available ‘free full text’. Two are not. Here are the numbers. Have fun:
Mr. Rossi
On the Mini SKLep Datasheet the input voltage is 0 – 12 V.

Valérie Gauriat:

The Amperes, Volts and Watts consumed by the lamp are shown in the display of the power source in the video that you can find here: https://twitter.com/leonardocorpor3
About the lux measurement, that is not a datum related to the Ecat, being related to the lamp, not to the Ecat, and for this reason we cannot put that datum in the datasheet of the Ecat. Anyway, to answer you, I measured today with my luxometer 300 lux in one of the twin circuits equal to the one shown in the streaming we operate with every day, to study all the issues we collect from the model of the 100000 hours test.

Mr. Rossi
I understand these views of yours from the reader discussion.
1. The connection from the output to the input E-catSKLep (supply loop), is not desirable due to the stability and oscillation of the entire connection.
2. Grounding of the input is needed for safety reasons against injury due to dangerous voltage.
All the best J.Š.
I’m hoping this is a really dumb question, but here goes:
1) Are the inputs of the Ecat-SKLeps fully electrically isolated from the outputs (for example, no common ground from input to output) so that the inputs to multiple Ecat-SKLeps can all be connected in parallel (thus sharing the same input power supply) while the outputs can all be connected in series (thus increasing the output voltage of the entire assembly)?
The reason I ask is because solar inverters typically operate in the 300 to 600 VDC range and solar microinverters typically operate in the 24 to 48 VDC range (according to wikipedia) and they seem like they might be made to apply to the SKLeps as well.
Also, I ask because of the uncertainty surrounding the issues of grounding in general.
Dear Andrea Rossi,
please answer a few questions.
1. Will the Sklep or Mini-Sklep generate output with the corresponding power of 12V 100w or 12v 10w when the input is connected to the network in the event of an emergency power outage?
a) with battery 12 v backup;
b) in the presence of emergency generator power supply, connected to the N wire of the network and generating 220 V when connected to it through a transformer and rectifier 12 V for the Sklep input?
2. After connecting 20 SKlep in series, getting 240v at the output,
a). does each SKlep need to be connected to a 12v power supply separately at the entrance,
b) or parallel connection of 12v from one source,
c). or the inputs connected in series and connected to 240 v.
Thank you very much for your patience in answering questions and I have the impression that many more unexpected things will be revealed in your zero point energy devices during R&D. I wish you good luck

In 2021, the average monthly U.S. residential electrical energy use was 886 kW-hrs per month. Using 30 days per month and 24 hours per day, the average U.S. residential grid power coming into the home was 1.23 kW.
Assume a 20Amp 240VAC circuit breaker (in the residential Main Box) connects to 13 Enphase micro-inverters. Each IQ8A is rated to continuously output 1.21 Amps at 240VAC or 290W. Each IQ8A would require about 300 W of DC power at about 36 VDC. This could be supplied by 30 Mini-SKLep units.
If 13 IQ8A micro-inverters (each receiving power from 30 Mini-SKLeps), were be connected in parallel along the circuit, they would produce up to 290W times 13 or 3.77 kW of electrical power. The total current would be 15.7 Amps which is under the 16 Amps limitation specified by Code for the 20Amp circuit breaker.
If a System Controller was integrated to turn on and off the Mini-SKLep units associated with each micro-inverter (13 units being controlled by the System Controller) then the produced output power could be controlled in approximately 290W steps (0W, 290W, 580W, etc.)
While the combined system could produce 3.77 kW of electrical power, the average it would need to produce is the 1.23 kW. The ratio between the highest output and the average output is 3.065. This would likely handle maximum or peak demands. If not, some additional energy would come from the Grid.
The specified operational time for the Mini-SKLep is 100,000 hours. Since only about 1/3 of the Mini-SKLep units will, on the average, be operating at any one time, the system operating time will be 306,500 hours. This would equate to about 35 years of operation. Likely sufficient for a homeowner.
The material costs for the system are estimated to be:
390 Mini-SKLeps @ $25 each = $9,750
13 Enphase IQ8A micro-inverters @ $200 each = $2,600
1 System Controller is estimated at $2,000
Misc circuit breaker and wiring = $250
So, the material cost will be about $14,600. Assuming the homeowner installs it, the yearly pro-rated cost is $14,600 / 35 years = $417/year.
Using the 886 kW-hrs per month times 12 months per year and $.20 per kW-hrs says the normal electricity bill per year would be about $2,000.
At a savings of about $1,500 per year, the envisioned system would pay for itself in about 10 years.

Dear Andrea Rossi.
The data sheet looks really good and to me at least makes the miniSKLEP almost tangible as a product whilst we are waiting for them.
It was/ very good decision to release this I think.
I noticed that both the input and output Voltages have a range 1 to 12 V.
1. Does this mean that when On that the output voltage depends on the input voltage?
2. Does the output Voltage always equal the input Voltage?
3. Does the output voltage depend on the AI management load requirement?
4. Does the input Voltage regulate the out put Voltage by setting a maximum value?
5. Does input Voltage regulate the output power through regulating the out put current level
6 or is the input Voltage level fully independent from the out put. Only needed for start up and control but not related to the output Voltage.
Sorry if these look strange and too specific questions. They just come up as the input and output look similar in the Datasheet.
Thanks and Best Regards
Stephen

Dear Andrea Rossi,
In 2021, the average monthly U.S. residential electrical energy use was 886 kW-hrs per month.
