Dr. Rossi, I was delighted to read your response to Frank Acland, about you sailing the paper ships in the fountain, when you were 4 years old, and not forgetting to give credit to your dad.

    Dear Dr. Rossi,
It is wonderful to hear that you have taken steps for the mass production of the E-Cat Quark X. One problem I’m sure you’ve considered is that most
consumers will not know what to do with a small device unlike anything that has existed before and is outside the existing infrastructure. Clearly one of
the critical steps in your product chain is an army of engineers and original equipment manufacturers designing useful products around the Quark X. Personally
as an engineer I can’t wait to start designing around and integrating the Quark X into our products. Can you tell us (other than F8, F9) when we might
expect to have a datasheet or other integration materials available, possibly under NDA?

    Thank you and happy Easter!

    Dear Andrea,
I have been following you since 2011 basically every day and after 5+ years of waiting i see you are very close to deliver plants and real products.
Who is in charge of the distribution licensee for Italy now?
Thank you and keep the good work
    Neri B.

    Frank Acland:
Leonardo Corporation is prepared and ready.
The deliveries of all the robotized lines will be fast, I already signed the MOU, the factory is already ready and I designed the E-Cat QuarkX in a way that will ease the manufacturing, because I have designed it together with the robot experts I am working with and the electronic engineers I am making with the prototypes.
Leonardo Corporation is ready, do not worry. We will be very fast with the distribution, because we want to burn out ALL our possible competitors, whose only strategy I can see is hope to be ready to copy our products, pretending they will have invented them. They will be beaten in two fronts: patent violation and price: Leonardo Corporation will start immediately with very low prices, due to the massive production they will not be ready to do. I have pretty good intelligence about all what is happening around, what really is behind the chatters and there is nobody ready with any structure necessary to compete with us, let alone a product. Leonardo Corporation will have warships, they will have paper ships, made of the same substance of my paper ships I used to make and test in the fountain of the zoo of Milan ( Milano, Italy ) when I was 4 years old, with the engineering assistance of my dad. This having been said, I must add that there is also some competitor that is working very seriously and upon technology really different from ours: but they don’t talk, as I did until 2011.
    F8, F9.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

    Dear Dr . Rossi,

When an e-cat, hot-cat,e-cat-X or e-cat-quark is running, does it emit a constant or variable amount of heat, light and/or electrical energy?

Could one think of it as a candle constantly burning or a candle that is constantly being blown out, then re-lit?

    TIA
    kenko

  • Gherardo

    Dott.Rossi,
e-cat looks like science fiction but the more I read about quarkx, the more they look better than SciFi.
Hopefully in my life I’ll see them everywhere making a better life for all of us.
If people could have cheap energy some of the conflicts and deaths we experience today will no longer have a reason.
Disruption is the next challange you need to handle, but I know you already saw it and moved accordingly.
Buona Pasqua a lei e famiglia

  • Frank Acland

    Dear Andrea,

You said recently that your problem is the multitude of your potential customers. I think this could be a major challenge, as when people realize what your E-Cats can do, the demand will be huge. You will essentially be starting from nothing, to where you need to be producing millions of units a year immediately to meet expectations. Can you realistically do it? Or should we be prepared for very long waiting lists for delivery of E-cat products?

    Best wishes,

    Frank Acland

  • Dear Andrea,
Speaking of the colour of E-cat X’s light, it’s also important if the spectrum is continuous or spiky. Continuous spectrum is best, because it reproduces the colour of any reflecting object correctly, with no surprises to the eye which is used to daylight. A simple way to find out: show the E-cat light to an artist or painter and ask him if it would be good enough for the atelier.

If given a choice, the eye prefers continuous spectrum. The colour of the light also plays a role, but the brain is used to correcting it rather well, because also the natural light colour varies a lot from noon to cloudy weather to sunset to twilight. For example the incandescent lightbulb looks nice even though its colour differs a lot from daylight.

These considerations are relevant, I think, when one thinks how valuable the light produced by the E-cat X is, in comparison to extracting electricity from it and using normal LED or other lamps.
Happy easter to you also, /pekka

  • Dear Rossi,

    1. Is it possible to replace nickel with Platinum to boost power for applications were cost is not a factor, like space propulsion, and for people / businesses that can afford higher prices for the E-Cat?
    2. How quickly can the Quark X be stopped and started? Vehicles need something that can stop/start relatively instantly.
    3. How will refueling work for the Quarks installed in cars?

    Regards,

    Amos

  • Marco

    Dear Andrea,

you stated that you can change the light color. The light is monochromatic as a laser or has a distribution as a light bulb? I am asking because I am thinking of an application as light source in cinema or home theatre projectors… If the light is monochromatic, the colors rendered by such a projector would be wonderful. Also efficient laser “lamps” costs much and age fast, so three QuarkX (red, green and blue) can do the trick…

  • Andreas Moraitis

    Dear Andrea Rossi,

Your recent answers seem to indicate that the light in the Quark X is not produced by incandescence. I do not want to ask too much, but could you tell us at least how the light leaves the reactor? Is there perhaps a window, or does the Quark ‘shine’ over its entire surface?

    Best regards,
    Andreas Moraitis

  • max rosa

    Dr Andrea Rossi,
I too want to congratulate with your US patent, which is the only one in the world that is related to an apparatus that exists and works on industrial scale: all the other patents and patent applications around, so far, are related to devices that either do not exist, or are laboratory toys that no independent party has ever tested, or are copycats of your E-Cat. There is one only person we can expect from a massive diffusion of the patented apparatus, and that’s you.
I read that you risked a cancer not to delay the test of your 1 MW plant: only one person in the world has the guts to do something like this: it is you.
I wish you a peaceful Easter,
    Max

Making light, heat and electricity with the same device is a pretty good trick! The implication is that you can adjust the energy of the photons emitted by your quarkx. Can you tune the colour of the light? Can you choose to have a quark emit red or blue, for instance?
Hope you can answer this one!

    Dear Ing. Rossi,
You replied thus to my question:
” My problem is the huge multitude of our potential Customers.”
This is a very positive answer and which is the key, I believe to the E-Cat’s and your success. May I wish you all the success that you deservedly merit. I would be proud to be one of your early customers. Meanwhile,
    Happy Easter, Buona Pasqua.

My problem is the huge multitude of our potential Customers. The scientists world is complex and contradictory. There are top level scientists, even Nobel Prize laureates, that are positive with us, others that are not and it will continue to be so, until the product will be in the market.

    How does QuarkX makes light?
Can one unit of QuarkX be used to light a room?

  • Albert Ellul

    Dear Ing. Rossi,

Do you think that the multitude of scientists who are still sceptical about your work and LENR will finally be convinced by the end of this year, especially following a successful (F9) roll out of the E-Cat-Quark X and the planned June press conference?

  • Andreas Moraitis

    Dear Andrea Rossi,

If the surface of the Quark X gets very hot, it will have to be protected against oxidation. But at the same time the emitted light must find a way out. Did you perhaps invent a nuclear light bulb?

    Best regards, and Happy Easter
    Andreas Moraitis

  • Hello, Mr. Rossi. Very interested in the possibilities of your Quark X reactor especially the direct production of Electricity. Many assumed that the mechanism is a alpha or beta voltaik, thermoelectric or photoelectric converter. You pulled back all these assumptions, further complicating the problem, stating that Quark X can convert sided heat into electricity. If you link together increased operating temperature with decrease of the size of the reactor – it can be assumed that thermoemission mechanism of electricity generation on lithium vapor is occurring.

  • Hergen

    Dear Mr. Rossi,

you say, that the e-catx produces light. It is very easy to convert electricity in light. With LEDs we have very advanced sources of light and the next generation of LEDs, organic LEDs, are on the way. So what are the special advantages of an e-catx as a light source compared to existing light sources?

Another question: Do you wear sunglasses in your lab?

AS always thank you for your answers.

  • Andrea Rossi

    Giorgio:
If your question is aimed to know if the QuarkX makes light, the answer is yes.

    Stephen:
The TerraHertz radiation has surely no interaction with the E-Cat.
Thank you anyway for the link, which is interesting independently from our apparatus.
Happy Easter to you and all our Readers,
    A.R.

  • Stephen

I hope all is well over there and I wish you and your new E-Cat Quark team and the old E-Cat team the best for Easter… Hopefully some nice Easter Eggs are on the way too F9 F8 ;). The E-Cat quark sounds like it could be really interesting not just as a device form a technology point of view but also in its manufacture, production, distribution, robustness, portability, diverse usage and overall design point of view. Looking forward to seeing it someday.

Can you say if TerraHertz radiation is used or generated within your device. I think it has been implied in some places. If so you might be interested in the following article and paper about focusing and tuning TerraHertz radiation:

    http://www.spacedaily.com/reports/Researchers_develop_new_lens_for_terahertz_radiation_999.html

    http://www.nature.com/articles/srep23023

If TerraHertz radiation is important for LENR I wonder if it could be interesting.

  • Dear Andrea,
Wolf gave his animalistic comment (duck in a pond). If you make a separate product of the device that makes electricity from heat, perhaps name it E-duck? Then E-duck makes the E-quark quack, heh heh.

    Quack quack!
    /pekka

  • Lars Lindberg

When you have the theory behind the Rossi effect, how big do you think the COP will be?
Do you think you have the theory now?
