    Hi!

    Thanks for the test, nice.
Total weight for the system 80kg right?
    Electronic + ecat= 18kg
Why a box to hold it that weight 68kg?
Doesn’t make sense to me, please explain 😀

  • Sven Magnusson

    Dr Rossi,
Great 6 hours video, highly professional, very convincing; great test, congratulations.

Buonasera Andrea. sono ormai passati 14 anni dal mio primo contatto con l’ecat. Ero entusiasta all’inizio, poi disilluso a seguito delle vicessitudini americane. Oggi ha riacceso una piccola luce di speranza. Spero che finalmente si arrivi all’industrializzazione del prodotto, é’forse l’ultima occasione per passare alla storia dalla parte giusta. Auguri

  • Dear Andrea,
congratulations for these high-level outcomes and professional videos.
First for importance, the power of the E-Cat was really impressive, charging the car battery
up to >80% after 6-hour continuous run (a dream for any EV owner)
Difficult to find any doubt after such a demonstration…
    Again, my hartiest compliments !

    Dott. Rossi
did he say there would be a surprise on the day of the EV test?
    did he forget?

  • WaltC

    Dr. Rossi,
Excellent demo & video! If that doesn’t gain the attention of every EV producer on the planet, then they must be hiding under a rock.

Question– I really liked the small size, specs and form factor of your 3kW prototype that you showed on your website– do you have plans, at some point, to sell a compact, rectangular-shaped 1, 2 or 3kW unit as well?

    Best Wishes for Mega-orders,
    WaltC

    Caro Andrea,
    Grazie, Infinitamente grazie

    Dear Andrea ,

    You said Theoretically yes ?
Is it perhaps not possible in practice?

    And why not?

  • Franz D.

    Dear Dr. Rossi,
at which time will you release the link to the live-stream of the EV-test event?
At your homepage and here at the blog?
    Warm regards and good luck!

    Dr. Rossi,
I know you are focused on Thursday’s demo at the moment, but after that, as Hurricane Helene’s after-effects point out, the world could really benefit from a vastly improved “Portable Power Station”– specifically one powered by the Ecat.

Gasoline Power Generators are not very portable; they are dangerous in closed spaces (such as indoors, or in a tent); and their runtime is typically 8-12 hours at rated power before they require refueling.

Battery powered Power Stations are only capable of, roughly, 1 hour of runtime at rated power, so they’re mainly used for powering small things, but not large ones, like refrigerators, or homes.

An Ecat powered PPS (portable power station) could serve in emergencies, when camping, remote cabins, remote field-work and even daily use, AND, the runtime would be virtually *infinite* compared to the alternatives.

One other thought, an Ecat PPS could easily be made to be modular. If the Ecat-PPS had “slots” for one, two or three “Ecat Power Bricks”, customers could start easily out with an 1kW PPS, for instance, and then upgrade it later, as need arose, to a 2kW or 3kW system by plugging in additional Power Bricks.

I’d buy an Ecat-PPS today, if it were available!

Best Wishes, and great excitement, for Thursday. Don’t forget to put a big “Powered By Ecat” logo on the lead car!

    Dear Andrea Rossi,

    Speculation on the EV Demo…

    EV from France
    6-hour demonstration

    Assumptions:
    1. Non-equipped EV runs out of battery power after two hours.
    2. At driving speed, EV consume 0.2 kW-hrs per kilometer.
    3. Driving speed of 140 kilometer per hours. (not too fast — not too slow)

    Computed values
    Minimum eCat output = 140 kph * 0.2 kW-hrs per kilometer = 28 kW. Likely 20 – 36 kW (10 to 12 3 kW NGU units?).
EV battery system capacity = 2 hours * 28 kW = 56 kW-hours. Probably closer to 60 kW – standard EV battery capacity.

  • Christian Cole

    Dr Rossi,
Can you tell us this: in the paper
    http://www.researchgate.net/publication/330601653_E-Cat_SK_and_long_range_particle_interactions
which is/are the paragraph/paragraphs most important in relation to the EV application we’ll watch in the videos of the Ecat powered electric vehicle ?

  • Brice Hollants

    Dear Dr. Rossi,

I’m very curious for the test with the cars.

    1) Will you weigh both cars on a weigh bridge? This will give us an idea how much your system weighs. If your car is significantly heavier, then this will also consume more energy.

    2) Will you give us a little glimpse under the bonnet of your car, without revealing trade secrets? Just to show that there are no hidden weird, exotic systems?

Hoping that this will be the final proof, I wish you the best of luck!

    Brice

  • Martin

    Dear Andrea ,

If I connect 5 x 100W Ecat to a micro inverter and connect it to the grid, the 500 W. Ecat then continuously delivers 24 hours a day- 500 W. on the grid 7 days a week ? And that for 100.000 hours ?

Thank you for the clarification and hopefully for the confirmation.

  • ernesto Seligardi

    Dear Andrea Rossi,
I didn’t quite understand what will be streamed on Thursday/Friday:
    A) will it be the streaming transmission of the full recording of the test that was done in the hours/days before the broadcast itself, and therefore it will not be a live broadcast of the test with the EV at the same time. In this case, you and your team would already know what happened by watching the video.
    B) or will it be the live broadcast of the actual test, with the possibility of witnessing the euphoria of your team for a hoped-for but not absolutely certain result?

  • Andrea Rossi

    Andrey Savchenko:
    Yes,
    Warm Regards,

  • Joseph Fine

    Dear Andrea Rossi,

I want to congratulate you and your team for reaching this milestone (or kilometer-stone) of development.

I was thinking about the interfaces between the E-Cat power source and the battery and recharging system.

    1) That is, are the interfaces more than a proprietary issue of how to maintain the State of Charge (SOC) in the battery, or are there exotic particles e.g. EVOs (Exotic Vacuum Objects) that must be considered? That is, for applications that require extended operation (weeks, months or years – such as Industrial use or in Space), the important thing is not only to preserve battery health, but passenger or customer safety.

On another topic, several years ago, I put in an order for 2 E-Cat systems, and I was curious if everything goes well, how many years do you think it would would take for the USA, State or local authorities or in other countries to approve home and/or commercial/industrial uses?

For example, if an E-CAT can continue operation for tens or hundreds of thousands of hours, it could be used as a power source on the Moon or on a Space Station. Obviously, this is a more exotic application that an automobile or truck on the Earth, but worth developing.

  • Claud

    Dr Rossi,
Did all the experiments you made with the EV confirm the theoretical background explained in the paper
    http://www.researchgate.net/publication/330601653_E-Cat_SK_and_long_range_particle_interactions
    ?
    Thanks
    Claud

  • Alex

Hopefully, and assuming that this Thursday’s EV application of the e-Cat turns out to be a great success, will you commence the much-awaited production and sales of the E-Cat-based units, especially the domestic electrical power units that can replace the grid power by hooking it to an inverter unit?

  • Roberto

    Dr Rossi,
Why don’t you disclose the location and date of the EV demonstration ?
    Best,
    Roberto
