Congratulations for this huge news and I am looking forward for your presentation in November.
One question please, for the sales distribution throught out the world will it be just Leonardo Corp or will you be using the standard distribution network
Frank Acland:
No, but it will be possible to apply the Ecat SKLed to walls, ceilings, or put them upon desks, tables, wherever.
And here is an important anticipation that I forward to our Readers and to the Readers of E-Catworld:
in ten days I will publish a photo of the product, its price and the main characteristics and will open the sales. Everybody will be free to buy, domestic, commercial or business, or other as they might be. The certification, made by a third independent party, covers and guarantees the Ecat SKLed for any application, even domestic.
The price will depend on the quantities a Client will buy.
The official presentation will be made in November 2021 and the deliveries will begin after the presentation, but not before we will have collected at least 1 million orders of Ecat SKLed , because this is the payback number at the price we will make, that will be very popular ( between 20 and 30 $, depending on the quantity of Ecats bought ).
The EcatSKLed is a beauty, designed with love, and pays back its price in less that one year; we will guarantee 100000 (one hundred thousands) hours of life and a free substitution if it will break before, so long it will be returned with it sealed body integer and not tampered with.
The presentation of November will have a worldwide diffusion.
This has been decided, whatever it will cost in terms of money and fatigue.
The Clients will pay nothing at the order, they will pay only at the delivery: no delivery, no money changing hands.
The order of delivery will respect the list of pre-orders we already got, but it is necessary that all the pre-orders will be confirmed within 30 days from when I will publish here the photo and the data-sheet with the price list. The pre-orders that will not be confirmed will be considered cancelled.
Warm Regards,
A.R.
Thank you for your information. It may be better to have this discussion on the ECW and leave this place to Andrea for answering the many questions to him.
Dear Dr. Rossi,
Is it possible to release a preliminary SKLed data sheet before the presentation? (lumen/bulb, bulb dimensions, beam angle, etc.) Just for the purpose of getting an idea how to do application designs.
Tank you if you can answer.
Calle H
@ Calle H:
I did some investigation:
At 1000 lux an amorphous silicon solar panel will output 30 uW per square centimeter. (https://forcetechnology.com…. This is about 300 mW/m2
A (SKLed-) light that can output 1000 Lux on a m2 with 22000 L/W will require 0.045 W. (45 mW)(https://www.rapidtables.com…
It seems possible, but obviously, but the losses (electrical and light) must not be too high.
You would need to use an amorphous silicon solar panel, that’s more sensitive to the blueish side of the spectrum then the crystal silicon panels.
Increasing the Illumination (Lux) on the panel over the total surface is the simplest way to do it, not more panels. It will not be easy to near direct sun illumination level. You just need to get enough power to get all systems (Panel-battery charger; 12V-AC converter) going.
Regards, Gerard
Dear Dr. Rossi,
Is it so that the lumen/W performance is now so high that it is feasible to illuminate photo voltaic solar cell panels and achieve COP >1? This may answer the question asked by many of your followers why you are so focused on the SKLed product.
Thank you for all your tremendous efforts.
Calle H
Thanks for your prior response. I’m very excited now!
By “naked” I mean just the SKL reactor alone and visible generating energy (including controller & cooling components of course) and not as packaged inside another device (such as the SKLed).
Dear Dr Rossi,
Will your SKLed include the option of a “string of LED bulbs” powered by a single SKL to illuminate several rooms in a building?
Best Regards,
Iggy
In addition to the SKLed component, will your upcoming presentation:
1) Include more conventional measurements of SKL net energy production using certified instrumentation furnished and utilized by reputable 3rd parties?
2) Demonstrate a “naked” SKL reactor in operation?
Thanks for your indulgence on our inquiries and God’s speed on your important work.
What I have understood the Ecat SKLed is generating a white light,
normally a white light is generating light in the visible spectrum(400-770nM).
With a filter you can get the desired light colour.
While a mains-powered SKLed can be very practical and very interesting for commercial lighting, I personally believe that for a convincing demonstration a self-sustaining SKLed with a battery is crucial (maybe a demo with both?). In the one case, the efficient LEDs would take the spotlight, in the other, your spectacular reactor.
Dear Mr. Rossi,
as i understand: This E-Cat SKLed is ‘just’ light, it has to be plugged to the mains to start it.
So it is not suitable for domestic use. Anyways i don’t like LEDs in my home, i rather use halogen bulbs or the old normal tungsten filament lamps. And my lamps are at the ceiling. Also there is no sense for a torch which has to be plugged to the mains.
So your product is just a floodlight for stadiums, production halls, hangars and so on.
Different it would be if there is a electric socket for other purposes. Maybe then it could be used for camping, to cook, to heat, charge a battery…
Best regards
Dieter
Your SKL Lights sound like a good fit for stadium lighting.
1) Is your partner considering that market?
2) Illuminating a high-profile,b televised football game (either American or European FB) would be great publicity.
3) Also, I think the product should be called Rossilights or (if you are too modest for that) Nicolalights.
Dear Andrea,
The suggestion of Calle H on the 11th about driving the Ecat SKLed with solar panels that are lid by the SKLed may have an important merit:
I guess it would enable a continuous running self sustaining lamp. Maybe the best way to try and convince not believers of the potentials of the Ecat.
The point that it may be self sustaining would be rather intriguing. The first ever lasting perpetuum mobile!
Maybe worthwhile as an addition to your presentation?
Success!
Kind regards, Gerard
I don’t fully understand. LEDs are already efficient and need to be connected to power. The SKLed incremental improvement of a tiny decrease in power consumption seems like an anti-climax. Why not just produce electricity or heat?
Frank Acland:
1. I don’t know
2. see 1
3. Now it’s only AC, because it is more common. Everybody has AC outlets, while in case of DC you need a DC alimentation. As Tesla said, AC is better than DC
Warm Regards,
A.R.
Congratulations. I look forward to your presentation. As I’m a fan of LED-lights, I look forward to buying a cold white one based on the Rossi Effect. Most of the LED lights I can buy in the regular shops are warm white ones, but on a working desk I prefer cold white light. I hope it comes with the regular E27 fitting? Of course, I perfectly understand if your first focus is on street lights only.
Mike Phalen:
All I can say is that it happens many times to me to dream Tesla that looks the Ecat: I think this derives from the fact that I read many times his scripts and I am extremely focused on the Ecat, so the brain makes unconsciously a conjunction of these two activities; I sympathise hith Tesla, he too had a difficult life, but never gave up: that’s kind of inspiring.

Dear Andrea Rossi,
The LED lamp coupled with an eCat-SKL device within a single cube shaped enclosure, dose that cube also contain the controller?
Or, is there one or more controllers that control a large number of the cubes?

Dear Andrea,
1. Do you think that in the future you will make versions of the SKLed that work with different colored LEDs?
2. If so, would the efficiency be lower than the current version (white light)?
3. Can the current SKLed be powered by DC, or must AC be used?
Best wishes for this project,
