    Dear Andrea,
Nasa wants to further develop ‘kilopower’ nuclear fission reactors for missions and station on the moon and Mars that will happen in the relative near future. They want to have these ready within 10 years.
See: https://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/tdm/fission-surface-power/index.html They must run continuously autonomously for 10 years and generate at least 10 kWe.
The reactors that are studied right now require highly enriched Uranium, which is dangerous stuff that require many safety measures during enrichment and the preparation for usage inside the reactor, which will make employment expensive. I’m sure the Ecat SKLEP can easily compete with these.
I’m sure it is not your focus right now, but it will be a hell of a promotion for the SKLEP it it would be chosen for this purpose.
    Kind regards, Gerard

    Dears Readers

here, where I live (Lake Major – Piedimont Italy) there are some Historycal houses closed to many times because it is to much expensive heat them. I hope that a introduction of SKL on the market can re-bornig this houses. Also I hope can be re-borning the montain towns too….in Italy the be carefull the mountain is necessary, in the future, because the hydrogeological instability, caused by climate change, can be limited if people do not go away in the mountains. Taking care of the territory with the right policies and the help of the ECAT SKL will certainly make a difference.
It’s just a dream….a dream ten years long but……Now is real

  • Dear Andrea,

    CC:
    You are right.
    To all our Readers:
Please do not spend money for any offer you receive related to the Ecat in any form before asking me if the offer is genuine; you can have immediate answer from me emailing to
    info@leonardocorp1996.com
Also refuse any kind of Bitcoin related to Ecat, The New Fire, or anything related to the Ecat, because we do not participate to any form of bitcoin. My personal opinion is that bitcoins are pure bullshit and that their value sooner or later will drop to zero.
    Warm Regards

    DEAR READERS:
    ATTENTION: THERE IS A SITE
    https://newfirecointoken.com
that are using without our permission the name Ecat to sell bitcoins.
We, as Leonardo Corporation and out sites http://www.leonardocorporation.com and http://www.ecat.com and I personally Dr Andrea Rossi have nothing to do with these guys.
They are fraudolently trying to use the name Ecat and the logo “The new Fire” to promote the sale of bitcoins about which we know absolutely nothing and nothing want to know.
They also use the site http://www.ecat.org
that cites the name Ecat, but has nothing to do with us and we never knew anything about them.
We already passed this issue to our attorneys, to make any action necessary to defend our trade mark and to avoid any fraudolent use of the name Ecat.

    Dear Andrea,
You realize that if you followed the first schedule you suggested for the presentation that we would now have either a soon to be anticipated or confirmed device technology. I assume you were ready to present at the designated date. Since the organization that required you to postpone your presentation no longer is in the position to make you confirm to their schedule, is there any reason you cannot present at a sooner date? Time is money, delay can only cost you the opportunity to take advantage of your efforts sooner and reap your rewards sooner.
    Curious regards.

    Dear Andrea,
My wife & I, who are retired in the Seattle area, just visited the Museum of History and Industry on Lake Union where they are sponsoring a magnificent collection of inventions and papers by Leonardo DaVinci. https://mohai.org/exhibits/#current.

I realise that it won’t be soon, but I hope someday you and your wife will find some time to enjoy such an experience. I have a feeling that your name will also be remembered for millenia.

Thanks to you and your team for all of your hard work and dedication. I’m looking forward to your coming presentation.

    Hello
As for the profitability of purchasing an energy generator by an average family in an average developed country in Central Europe:

1- it is unlikely to be profitable, because you will have to buy other devices for the generator
2 – it will be profitable, if energy consumption is very high during the year, it may pay off in the long run
3 – it will be very profitable, the purchase cost will pay off in a relatively short time
I look forward to December 9, I hope I will not be disappointed.
I have been following you for eleven years and I support you a lot.
    Best wishes
    Mario

    Dear AR,
The use of SKLed in greenhouses for light and some heat is really exciting. It will open up all sorts of inhospitable environments for the use of food production – on Earth, in space and on Mars (and beyond)
How is the horticulture work with SKLed going? Will you be able to present, on 9th Dec, a tomato or lettuce that has been grown with SKLed?

  • Andrea Rossi

    Dear AR,
I am still concerned at the naming of the new electric generator. We, who have been with you for years, know the difference between the last letter ‘d’ or ‘p’ in a nine letter name – and what it means. When the many millions (or even billions) get to hear of your two new products, they will simply confuse one with the other.
I note you have referred to Ecat SKLEP for the new generator, which is a step in the right direction; the capitalised version has not made it to the Dec 9th page.
Sven Kullander’s name will forever be remembered in lights with the Ecat SKLed. Perhaps it is now time for Leonardo to take centre stage with Leonardo Electric Power sk module Ecat LEPsk.
    regards,
    Greg Leonard
P.S. I am tempted to change my name to Leonardo to more fully enjoy the new future you are creating.

  • Mario

Hello, how competitive will the production from an energy generator be in terms of price to the current sources?
    1- medium
    2- lot
    3- very
    kind regards

  • Alfonso David Troisi López

    Dear Andrea Rossi,

I think that during the presentation you should not waist time trying to convince people that is real. You are presenting a product (SKLed) that has been certified and another product that is under certification process. Most of the skeptics are either paid or will keep being skeptics after you start delivering your products.

Best wishes for you, your family, your team and your blog readers

    Dear Andrea Rossi:
Two critical bit of information have been shared about the Dec. presentation:
    1) of the order of 100+ units might be displayed, all operating at once
    2) the presentation will be aimed at the less technical audience

Some suggestions to maximize the impact of the presentation for the target audience.

    1) Make it easy for the target audience to understand and even duplicate at least some of the tests/display. For instance, you probably will have an energy consumption display. Anyone can buy an (inaccurate but useable) watt meter on Amazon for $20 USD. If you use one (as opposed to a certified calibrated meter costing hundreds of dollars) during the presentation you can show the audience how to do the test so they can duplicate it rather inexpensively. I plan to do this myself to sway my sphere of influence that this is real.

Also show the power consumption of a single standard LED lamp, the power consumption of the SKLed for comparison, individually and combined so that the it is obvious you did not do trickery such as a simple change the full scale of the display.

    2) Plug in 10+ SKLed’s in parallel to the same single A/C extension cord and show the power consumption is less than a single standard lamp of the same light output. This backs up and directly illustrates the claim on the main page of https://ecat.com/ that the SKLed “Consumes less than 10 percent of any other lamp in the world.”

    3) To simplify a previous post..to have some showmanship….plug all your lamps into a single A/C cord/single power bar with a circuit breaker to show they do not flip the breaker, but a “small number” of regular lamps will.

    Best Regards
    LarryG

    Dear Andrea,

    1. Have any of the car manufacturers that have been working with you built a prototype powered by an ecat?
    2. If so, can you tell us any thing about the testing?

    Dear Andrea Rossi,

A Point Design for a Home SKLep System

Most homes in the US have 2-Phase AC power (nominal 240VAC).
In a residential home, there is a Main Panel (breaker box) which have multiple single phase and 2-phase breakers. Typical breaker values are 15Amp, 20AMP and larger.

    Assumptions:
    1. A single SKLep will be capable of outputting about 30W of power, can output 24 VDC, with an efficiency of 95%, and can accept grid power of 120 VAC nominal input voltage. Input power is therefore assumed to be about 1.5W per SKLep (5% of 30W).
    2. Assume an SKLep cost of $30 USD each.
    3. Multiple SKLeps can be tied in parallel together to increase the available power – up to at least 10 units.
    4. An Enphase micro-inverter costs less than $200 USD.
    5. It is assumed the multiple SKLep units, tied together in parallel, can drive a single Enphase micro-inverter (as though the micro-inverter was connected to a single solar panel).
    6. Enphase micro-inverters can be tied in parallel to another Enphase micro-inverter to couple at least 10 Enphase units. This ensemble of micro-inverters would connect to a single 20Amp 240VAC circuit breaker.
    7. The SKLep can run 24 hours per day, 7 days per week continuously.
    8. The average US home consumes about 30 kW-hrs of electrical energy per day.

    Proposed System:

A System contains N subsystems, where N is an integer between 1 and 10.

A Subsystem consists of 9 or 10 SKLep units and one Enphase micro-inverter (IQ7-60-2-US or IQ7PLUS-72-2-US).

Each SKLep receives grid electrical power from a single 15AMP 120VAC breaker (one 15Amp 120 VAC circuit breaker feeds all 90-100 SKLep units in the System). 10 Subsytems, each consuming 15W of input AC power, will require 150W of AC input power or about 1.25 Amps of 120 VAC power coming from the 15 Amp 120 VAC circuit breaker.

The 9 to 10 SKLeps in a Subsystem feed a single Enphase micro-inverter (9 or 10 x 30W = 270 W to 300 W of input power to the micro-inverter). The Enphase will output 250W to the 2-Phase (240VAC) circuit. This is approximately 1 Amp of 240 VAC per Enphase micro-inverter. So, for 10 Subsystems, in parallel, the current will be about 10 Amps going to the 20 Amp 240 VAC circuit breaker. The Subsystems are tied in parallel to a single 20AMP, 2-Phase circuit breaker in the Main box.
The Enphase units provide the grid protection/compliance when grid power stops or is outside of specification.

    Example System:

    N = 10 units.

10 Subsystems, each consisting of 9-10 SKLeps and one Enphase micro-inverter. Subsystem components cost is $470 to $500 USD. Each Subsystem can produce about 250 VA of power going to the grid while consuming about 15W of power for a net gain of 235W per Subsystem.

System: 10 Subsystems will cost (component only) about $4,700 to $5,000 USD + about $20 USD for 1 20AMP, 2 phase circuit breaker.

The System will produce a net power of about 2.3kW on electrical power flowing into the grid. In one day, this will produce about 56 kW-hrs of energy.

At a typical cost of $0.20 per kW-hr, this represents an electrical cost savings of about $11 USD per day or about $4,000 USD per year. Therefore, the proposed system should pay for itself in less than two years.

    Thoughts?

    Dear Andrea,

I saw this today in the guardian an English news paper:

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/nov/19/sweden-north-green-jobs?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other

I’m not sure if you are already aware of it. But it looks like a really good opportunity for your technology. Both the SKLed and the SKLEP and perhaps other projects you have in the works.

    Best Regards
    Stephen

  • Chuck Davis

    Sam,

You should photo shop that video to replace the drummer with Andrea! That would make a nice start to the presentation!

    Svein H. Vormedal:
    Thank you for your suggestion,
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Dear Andrea
When it comes to marketing SKLep, I agree with your choice.
Going wide now will be disruptive to your concentration on the product.
Your openness here in the blog, gives you enough market contact at this time.
Use your time wisely to ensure success when choosing to present your product.
I think you’re out too early rather than too late.
    Sincerely, Svein H. Vormedal

    Dear Andrea,

1- Will you let us know when you have the first ideas for a SKLsoc (system on chip)?
To think about it, I suggest to use the same physical theory, but a completely different technology to implement it.

    2- Second question:
Does the SKLep work with a plasma?

    Warm greetings,
    Wilfried

  • Chris

    Dear Andrea Rossi,

a few months ago you told us about the Ecat SKL and that it was able to produce about 5 kwh/h of power.

Can you tell us if this was a single module or if it was stacked to reach this power?

    Best regards,

    Chris

  • Paul Dianno

Dear Andrea I totally agree with Brice. If you have created the most important invention of the world, why Always have this approach? This could be one of the greatest moment in science history and you must have a mainstream approach. Please invite the big ones about the Energy sources ,Please hurry up.Best regards
