    Daniel G. Zavela:
We do not deliver the Ecat SKLep before a regular distribution has been started.
    The reason is obvious.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Dear Dr. Rossi,

I just received confirmation from DeLorean Motors Reimagined LLC that they are serious about producing a new electric car. If their CEO requested a prototype E-Cat SKLep now for evaluation, would you consider selling them a unit prior to the start of full-scale SKLep production?

Waiting with anticipation for my personal product order.

    Best Regards,

    Daniel G. Zavela

    Dear Andrea,
Can you tell us why you need an order of 1M before the manufacturing startup?
    Curious regards.

    Dear Andrea Rossi,

Another application for eCat SKLeps. Home and portable oxygen concentrators are used by people with breathing problems who require supplemental oxygen. They are divided into two categories: Home and portable. A quick survey shows the electrical power consumption to be between 100W and 600W electrical. So, between one and six or seven SKLeps would be needed to power a single oxygen concentrator for up to 10 years. Also, no need to worry about grid power outages causing a loss of oxygen delivery. Could also be used by hospitals and other medical facilities where supplemental oxygen is needed. Think of the recent conditions in India where people died for lack of supplemental oxygen. Thoughts?

  • Koen Vandewalle

    Hi Andrea.
I would be willing to pay 25% more for my devices. This in case you would be stranded on 800,000 ordered devices within a few weeks.
Then your costs that you foresee for 1 million Ecat SKLep could be spread over 800,000, and you can start almost immediately.

More and better are the worst enemies of enough. I don’t think you should spend a lot of time and energy in variants in this life. The ECatSKLep is your most important child, and now he has to conquer the world.

    Impatient greetings,
    Koen

  • Andrea Rossi

    Miroslaw Novotny:
The Ecat SKLep does not have the necessity to have another load while charging a battery, therefore the wjole energy generated can go to charge a battery.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

    Dear Dr. Rossi

I would like to update my order rate tracking so we can see how we are progressing towards 1 million SKLep ordered.

I infer you have not reached 800K orders yet since I have not seen any announcement for this milestone, and you wrote previously that you would do so.

    1) can you confirm my inference that you have not reached 800K orders yet please?

    2) if you have reached 800K, can you please give us the date for hitting that milestone please?

    Regards
    LarryG

  • Miroslav Novotny

    Dear Dr. Rossi,
let’s say that ECat SKLep will be used to drive a small scooter. This scooter will not have a strong enough battery to start the E-Cat SKLep (you recommended the Tesla battery).
The consideration is: Leave the E-Cat SKLep in continuous operation at low load, for example to power a resistance wire. And then only increase the output power of ECat SKLep and power the scooter.

The question is: What is the minimum (minimal) output power of ECat SKLep that is possible so that without the use of a starter battery, ECat SKLep can again (later) drive a scooter with a power of 100 Watts?

    Thanks Miroslav

  • Italo R.

    @ Miroslav Novotny:
    May I answer your question?
The minimum output power is zero watts, i.e. when the output circuit is open (load with infinite resistance) and you can read the output voltage without any current being drawn from the Ecat.
In these conditions the Ecat is already turned on. And you can instantly connect a load up to maximum 100 watts.
Maybe dr. Rossi can confirm or correct me?
    Kind Regards,
    Italo R.

  • Andrea Rossi

    Miroslav Novotny:
Sorrry,I am not sure I have understood your question: can you reohrase your question, specifying also what you mean by “minimum output power” ?
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Miroslav Novotny

    Dear Dr. Rossi,

    one technical question:

What is the minimum output power of ECat SKLep that is possible so that the output power of ECat SKLep can be increased to the maximum again without the use of starting input of electricity?

For example: ECat SKLep is connected to a resistance wire with a consumption of 1 Watt, and then the power of ECat SKLep can be increased to 100 Watts without the need for a starting power input.

    Thanks Miroslav

    Dear Koen,
I enjoyed your journey into the realm of warfare. Perhaps I have oversimplified my description of human behavior. One factor that I forgot to mention was the use of prejudice( you are better than your neighbor) by tribal leaders to justify human behavior such as wars.
Perhaps your history professor should have entitled his book “The use of warfare in maintaining human prejudices”. Hitler, the Romans, and the European empire builders as examples.
    Wondering regards.

    Dear Andrea,

    Good morning,

I just saw this article today from Drexel University about their research on Lithium-Sulfur batteries. This would probably be a good match with the E-Cat SKLep in many applications. Including mobile vehicles.

    Dear Andrea,

With your new SKLep 1 kW, you can build 20 MW plants in a container.
50 of those can be connected to a 1000 MW power plant. They can replace power plants fired by Oil, Gas and Nuclear!

This will be an enormous advantage for the planet.

I wish you and your team a big success!

    Dear Dr. Rossi,
The R&D work on the 1 kW module is very exiting. Is it possible that the 1kW module will be available before dispatchment of the SKLep orders so that it may be possible to swap SKLep for 1 kW module and yet keep the position in the order book?
    Kind regards,

  • Koen Vandewalle

    Dear Eernie1.
Thank you for your response. I am familiar with parts of the history of mankind. A very good book that I would recommend to the people who are also interested, was written by (our Belgian) professor Jonathan Holslag.

A three-thousand year history of the world that examines the causes of war and the search for peace

In three thousand years of history, China has spent at least eleven centuries at war. The Roman Empire was in conflict during at least 50 per cent of its lifetime. Since 1776, the United States has spent over one hundred years at war. The dream of peace has been universal in the history of humanity. So why have we so rarely been able to achieve it?

In A Political History of the World, Jonathan Holslag has produced a sweeping history of the world, from the Iron Age to the present, that investigates the causes of conflict between empires, nations and peoples and the attempts at diplomacy and cosmopolitanism. A birds-eye view of three thousand years of history, the book illuminates the forces shaping world politics from Ancient Egypt to the Han Dynasty, the Pax Romana to the rise of Islam, the Peace of Westphalia to the creation of the United Nations.

This truly global approach enables Holslag to search for patterns across different eras and regions, and explore larger questions about war, diplomacy, and power. Has trade fostered peace? What are the limits of diplomacy? How does environmental change affect stability? Is war a universal sin of power? At a time when the threat of nuclear war looms again, this is a much-needed history intended for students of international politics, and anyone looking for a background on current events.

Of course some “religious” masterpieces also are intended to improve knowledge and insights. With enough energy and technology but no change in habits, our heirs will be divided: the ones that can afford to go to a luxury resort on Mars, with sightseeing cruises around the solar system, and the poor ones who must be happy with a visit to the moon. The latter will always try to imitate the example of the former. Unless they all become smarter.

    Grateful Regards,
    Koen

  • Giuliano Bettini

    Dear Andrea:
Perhaps Ecat SKLep opens up perspectives that go beyond the most widespread renewable energy sources (Solar energy; Wind energy; etc.) to solve the world energy crisis.
Better to say, I ask you as two specific questions:
1-Do you think Ecat SKLep opens up prospects for an alternative renewable energy source?
2-Are you currently involved in concrete activities that can improve Italy’s dramatic energy needs?
My greatest hopes of success for your work
    Giuliano Bettini.

    Dear Mr. Rossi,
now you have two products, a 100W and a 1MW ecat SKLEP.
Wouldn’t it be better to have more variants like 2,5KW and 5KW ASO. All should be delivered in a portable box incl a converter to 230V, ready to use in households, campers, motorhomes, caravans. The customer should have just to plug in your product, easy and simple.
And of course: Every product of your homepage should have at least one picture.
    Best regards

    Dear Dr Andrea Rossi,
it is very moving to read the theoretical paper
    http://www.researchgate.net/publication/330601653_E-Cat_SK_and_long_range_particle_interactions
and immediately after the reading to watch the video of the SKLep presentation ( Youtube Video Ecat SKLep Presentation December 9 2021 ).
It seems you can touch with hands the theory becoming reality.
Thank you for the immense work of you and your great team,
    Charlotte

    @LarryG
My bad. I wrote “No problem, as a smartphone charger easily delivers 5W or more”. I should have written: “No problem, as a charger similar to those for smartphones easily supplies 5 W or more”. With the same volume, my power supply for the Raspberry PI3 board provides 15W (3A @ 5V) and I have two similar power supplies for two 12 V surveillance cameras.
The second mistake is much worse: I divided 5000 (current) by 12 (voltage) instead of 0.083 (current). I should have been more careful.
However, the meaning was that there is no problem finding small components which do solve the grid failure problem.

  • CC

    Dear Dr Andrea Rossi,
    I have seen that in

there is a photo of the Ecat SKLep with the Atlantic Codex in the background: do you have the whole copy of the Atlantic Codex ?
Did you read it all the volumes ?
    Just curiosity,

    Dear Dr. Rossi,
looking for more I came across this email I wrote back in 2011.
So, with hindsight, just to have your qualified opinion, what did I write so naive, or worse, disreputable?
Of course I had no response.
Waiting for a new era for humanity, cordial greetings.

Distinguished Managers, considering the current state of crisis of the Group, in order to re-launch it and thus avoid having its best jewels stolen by ravenous foreign predators, it would be a good idea for you to pay some attention to what is happening in the energy field: the so-called “Cold Fusion”. It is sad to learn that the first working plant of 1MW seems to have already been purchased by a U.S. multinational, National Instruments Corporation, listed on Nasdaq (NATI), while the Italian State is “SLEEPING”! As rightly pointed out by Eng. Focardi that in collaboration with Eng. Rossi (inventor of the E-Cat) have made available this fantastic source of energy destined to change the fate of the world. See the following link: http://www.agi.it/bologna/notizie/201111101910-cro-rt10317-fusione_a_freddo_focardi_scoperta_ultimata_ma_fisici_tacciono. Given the stormy times (to use a euphemism) that the world economy is going through due to the effects of a systemic financial crisis out of control, where no one can think of surviving if not with brilliant innovations, we can no longer afford the luxury of a blind and stupid skepticism. The great German philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer said: “All truths go through three stages. First: they are ridiculed; second: they are violently contested; third: they are accepted by giving them as self-evident.” Hoping that this is not just a message in a bottle abandoned at sea.”

OK, I’ll use the already ordered SKLeps to experiment, trying to build a box myself.
Later I will plan further orders.

I’m sorry for the further delay, but ultimately I hope that only a few months will be added to a wait of more than a decade …

  • LarryG

    @Franco Pirri,
Regarding smart phone chargers. I think you will find that they only deliver 5V, notthe 12V that the SKLed needs.
Also, if the 5000 mAh battery (I think you will find it is not 5000 mA/h) did provide 12V, 1 watt at 12 V is 83mA of current, so it would last 5000/83 hours (about 60 hours).

    Dear Koen,
In a few words your Utopian world can never be achieved because of one factor. That is the nature of human behavior which is based on the animal instincts inherent in man. Those instincts are self preservation and protection of territorial assets. History tells us that no successful society can exist without these instincts present in it’s population. One example of this behavior in US past history is the civil war which preserved the assets of the overall society at an enormous cost of life and assets. Communistic societies seem to always degenerate into Dictatorships or Oligarchies.
    Historical regards.

  • Andrea Rossi

    Franco Pirri:
As I already said, we will give such consultancy to our Clients just before the delivery. The answers depend on their specific situations.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Franco Pirri

I have ordered 4 SKLeps and now have the option to extend the order.
The uses I have in mind are:
    – The 12V DC output versions will power several LED strips in the house. They work on 12 V and I can change the wiring in the junction boxes in the various rooms.
    – SKLeps with 220V output will power existing loads such as the internet router and some PCs that are constantly active.
It will be sufficient to have a 1 W power supply with 12 V output for each SKLep. No problem, as a smartphone charger easily delivers 5W or more.

It is advisable to maintain the power absorbed by SKLeps in the event of grid failure.
An auxiliary battery of adequate capacity is required. A tablet or smartphone battery with a capacity of 5000 mA/h, will power a single SKLep for over 400 hours.
Everything you need can therefore fit in a fairly smaller box than SKLep.

    My questions are:
1- Is the above absolutely out of the way?
2- Do you envisage a version of SKLep with this type of power supply, integrated inside or as an additional box?
3- Does any distributor provide such a box as an add-on?

I believe that definitive answers to the questions I have asked can reassure others and contribute to the achievement of the million orders.
Thanks for what you can answer.

  • Andrea Rossi

    Horst Lorenz Jesti-Pogatschnigg:
Frank Acland asked if the R&D on the 1 kW module will affect plans or sales of the Ecat SKLep.
    I answered “No”.
    That’s all,
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.
