    Gerard McEk:
    1. new orders are arriving and old orders are being either cancelled or reduced after the vetting procedureI explained here
    2. we are working on it
    3. I hope so

  • Andrea Rossi

    Calle H:
No orders have been cancelled and I did not say that Battery are the sole load applicable.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Andrea Rossi

    DrLG:
    No,

    A.R.

  • Andrea Rossi

    GEORGE PRAZAK:
No, it would be less cost effective.
    Warm Regards,

Would it have been more viable and cost effective to manufacture 500,000 SKLEP units at 200 watts output versus 1,000,000 units?

  • DrLG

    Dear Dr. Rossi

Is the vetting process for the first 800,000 pre-orders complete?

    Best Regards

  • Calle H

    Dear Dr. Rossi,
I would believe it is of ultimate importance that at least one practical and completed application of the SKLep is available before starting large scale production. With recent communication that the SKLep is best suited for battery charging, many orders may be cancelled when users find out that their SKLep application did require some advanced level of engineering which was not anticipated when placing the order. I would very much welcome the SKLep as a small electric resistive space heater as a packaged product. As you know the most energy competitive technology for private home space heating is the heat pump which performs at COP 4. With the SKLep performing at COP 100 the success of the Leonardo product would be eminent.
    Kind regards,
    Calle H

  • Gerard McEk

    Dear Andrea,

I hope you allow me some questions to ask:
    1. Many of your customers are interested to know if there is any progress in the pre-order portfolio of the SKLep. What can you say about that?
    2. Also, are you happy about the progress of the 1 kW SKLep?
    3. By now you must have an indication if an 1 kW SKLep is feasible, do you believe that you can produce and deliver it next year?
    Thanks for answering our questions.
    Kind regards, Gerard

  • Mario

what is the output voltage range of a 12v SKLep because a battery can reach 14 volts of charge. Is it possible to get the same value with the knob, with of course a proportional decreasing of the current (always 100 watt of power output) or do i need a step-up converter ?

  • Andrea Rossi

    RL:
Thank you for your email, I agree with what you wrote.
Your order of 10 years ago gives you a priority date should you order now Ecat SKLeps.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • RL

    Hello Mr Rossi,

I have read through some of the comments, but not all. If you have already answered my notes, I apologise. First of all, thank you very much for all your work and research. Thanks also go to your team.

At the end of March I stumbled across my 10 year old order of the ECAT Home Unit and wanted to see what had happened in the meantime. I was pleased to see that orders are now possible again. Since then, my brain has been rattling about how to use the Ecat SKLep sensibly.
It also seems to me that some commentators could brush up on their electrical engineering basics. I can’t charge a 12V battery with 12V. I need a charge booster or DC-DC converter. Current and voltage require a cable cross-section. Parallel and series connections have physical limits as a result. The Ecat SKLep provides its power constantly for a long time (power x time). To call up higher power in only a short time, I need a buffer (battery).

As I understand it, we will be contacted before shipping to discuss the desired configuration again. Hopefully by then there will be enough different connection devices to choose from to make the Ecat SKLep useful. An inverter for the 12V Ecat SKLep is great. You could run a cool box in the car and charge other devices without worrying about the starter battery. 48V battery chargers would be useful too. The automotive industry seems to be moving to 48V in the future as well.

    Thank you for your time.

    Gavino Mamia:
I discovered that we lost in the spam your last comment: can you kindly resend it ?
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Andrea Rossi

    Paul Dianno:
So the Ecat will become a UFO: Unidentified Flying Object… just joking. No, I prefer,so far, to avoid aeronautic applications.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Andrea Rossi

    Jan Srajer:
    Good question.
The amount of Ni we consume is irrelevant respect the amount normally mined, probably in the order of one millionth in weight respect the sole amount used for the production of stainless steel,
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Jan Šrajer

    Mr. Rossi
Will there be enough lithium on planet Earth for mass production of E-catSKLep?

    Warm regards

  • Paul Dianno

Hello Mr Rossi, can you Imagine drones equipped with Sklep instead the battery ? Unlimited autonomy could be very useful to every kind of use.
    Best regards

  • Andrea Rossi

    Monti:
The link could be given by the matterwaves from the ZBW of electrons, as hypothesized in

Interesting is the answer you gave to Yuri in his question 04/16/2022, 21:43

For those who are not experts in the subject, the concepts of clusters and phase recall the studies and ideas on condensed matter (here in Italy: Preparata, Del Giuidice, De Ninno … many others abroad) and the theories on the states of water advanced by Prof. Gerald Pollack of the University of Washington. So, no cold fusion, but condensed matter… matters.

    Is it a wrong connection?

  • Andrea Rossi

    DrLG:
    1- yes
2- as I already said in my answer to Frank Acland, yes
3- you obviously can connect with the battery any compatible load. But you can also use the battery as an energy storage
    4- yes
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Andrea Rossi

    Jack:
    Thank you for your opinion,
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Jack

    Mr Rossi,
I am convinced that the SKLEP does not exist, that you are totally a fake news and that all that you write is just not true.
    Disregards
    Jack

  • DrLG

    Dear Dr. Rossi

Followup questions re best load for the SKLep.

    1) please confirm your answer refers only to the DC output version of the SKLep, not the SKLep/AC.

    2) please confirm that “pure” resistive loads are also very good load for the SKLep/DC. I would think this is true since a pure resistive load is really just a heater.

    3) Since just charging a battery that is not connected to anything is useless, one needs an additional load connected to the battery to use the DC SKLep/DC/battery setup. (I disregard the case where you charge a battery up and then physically move it to another load or some such inneficient scenario.) Thus I think what you are saying is that for none pure resistive loads you recommend a battery in parallel to the DC SKLep output between the final load and SKLep. Please confirm. If not true, can you clarify your comment please.

    4) Please confirm the AC output version of the SKLep will mimic a wall plug powered by the grid, so anything you plug into your normal house wall plug can be connected to the SKLep/AC.

    Best Regards
    LarryG

  • Andrea Rossi

    Frank Acland:
    Good question.
The battery is also a capacitance, which grants a stabilization of the supply. It is not the sole load that works, but the question was which is the best kind of load. I forgot resistances, though.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Frank Acland

    Dear Andrea,

Can you say why charging batteries is by far the best use of the Ecat SKLep? If the SKLep can charge a battery, could it not just as easily run any electrical device?

    Many thanks,

    Frank Acland

  • Andrea Rossi

    Kurt:
We must make a distinction between the pre-orders for less than 500 units and the bigger ones.
For orders < 100 units we just ask the payment by Paypal before the delivery, with the refunding policy granted by Paypal. For bigger orders we ask the deposit of the payment for the total amount in an escrow account of a USA primary Law Firm. If the Client has not enough money to deposit in the escrow for the total amount, we reduce the order to a number of units whose total price is affordable for the Client to deposit the money in the escrow. Example: assume Mr X pre-orders 10000 units, whose price is, say, 2.5 million $, less the quantity discount. When we are ready to schedule the delivery, we ask the client to deposit in the escrow that sum; assume he can deposit only 250000 $: in this case the order will be reduced to 1000 units. We cannot risk to manufacture and deliver without the necessary guarantee to be paid. Warm Regards, A.R.

  • Kurt

    Dear Dr Andrea Rossi,
Which kind of guarantees are you asking to the buyers of the Ecat SKLep that sent you the pre-orders ?

  • Andrea Rossi

    Josephine
The best use is beyond any doubt batteries charging.
    Warm Regards,

  • Josephine

    Dear Dr Andrea Rossi,
Based on the experiments you are making, which is the best and easiest use of the Ecat SKLep that you envision ?
    All the best,
    J.

  • Dear Dr. Rossi:

As to your concern about “reverse engineering” of your product, I understand that the E-Cat SKLep software code is proprietary. The code used with microprocessors such as the Arduino (from Italy) can be locked. This should slow down your competitors.

How to program the protection lock bits in Arduino?
Save the “writelockbit.bat” file, and now you can execute the avrdude to program the lock bit fuse by double-clicking this “bat” file after uploading the sketch using the ArduinoISP. That’s all the steps to program the protection lock bits, preventing someone from cloning your application.

Best of luck with your product rollout.

    Best Regards,

    Daniel G. Zavela

    Yuri:
Thank you for your attention to our work.
Absolutely yes, and in the paper you cited I think it is explained why.

  • Yuri

    Dear Dr Andrea Rossi,
Is it correct to say that the formation of electrons clusters in phase is the core of the theoretical system you hypothesised in
    http://www.researchgate.net/publication/330601653_E-Cat_SK_and_long_range_particle_interactions
    ?
    All the best,
    Yuri

The amount of 1 mil units is necessary to make the price we offered.
If we deliver before, even at higher price, we will be obliterated by the reverse engineering.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Anonymous

    Mr Rossi,
Why is it necessary to reach orders for 1 million units before starting to deliver the Ecat SKLep ?
I think that starting the delivery you will rapidly sell more than 1 million units.

    @Levin E. Iniur
I don’t think bitcoins are a good idea, their value could drop to zero anytime, because they are completely out of control. The bitcoins possessors can easily convert their cryptovalute into dollars and buy the Ecat,
