    Dear Mr. Rossi,
once you wrote for recharging is a just a new, cheap cartridge necessary.
    1) Why it changed to “it has to be done by Leonardo Corp”?
    2) What about the costs for this cartridge and how long does it last?
    3) Maintenance, which costs? And how often?
Or will all be answered at the presentation?
    Best regards
    Michael

    Dear Andrea,
Yesterday, in your reply to Frank Acland you wrote: “we will make one module that will be combined in the assemblies the Customer will need”
In December 2020 I asked you, regarding an experiments of yours: “Do the 100 eCat-SKL modules each have their own load or are they connected in series or parallel?”
Your answer was: “They are connected in parallel to serve the same load.”

Now, is this connection used for the eCat-SKL modules also?

Thank you if you can answer. Warm regards,
    Franco

  • Dear Andrea
Will an SKL, which is connected to the regular grid, be suitable for supplying ordinary home chargers to electric vehicles with the energy they need?

    Dear Dr. Rossi,

Your response to Calle H states that the E-Cat SKLed and the future E-Cat SKL electrical energy generator will share common components, but presumably the E-Cat SKLed has LED light sources while the E-Cat SKL does not. Further, because of the use of common components, the threshold for starting the volume production and sale of E-Cat SKLed, and the E-Cat SKL would be that preorders for the combined total of both SKLed and SKL products must exceed 1 million units.

Your response to Frank Acland states that the future E-Cat SKL product will consist of assemblies of energy generating modules the number of which is determined by the customer.

    Question 1
Is the same energy generating method used in both the E-Cat SKLed and E-Cat SKL?

    Question 2
Does the future SKL generator product contain a customer selected number of SKL energy modules where each SKL energy module contains of a fixed number of SKLed energy modules?

If the answer to question 2 is “Yes” then everything you are doing makes sense to me. The E-Cat SKL energy generator would essentially be a non-rechargeable battery with an energy density much higher than any chemical battery, or fuel. Rather than refueling the E-Cat SKL Leonardo will be recycling it.

    Question 3
    Is my concept correct?

I wish you the best of luck on your upcoming presentation.

    Warm Regards,
    Dan Galburt

  • Dear Dr. Rossi,

Here is an interesting LED photo light that is just reaching the market. Continuous: 9000/6000 lumens; Burst: 18,000 lumens
The demand is there. If the SKLED can equal this with much lower power consumption, it could revolutionize photo and video production.

Best wishes for a brilliant success.

How will the SKL be refueled, will it need to be sent back to the factory or can it be refueled on site. I cannot wait to integrate it into our energy projects.

    Thank you

    Dear Andrea

This paper on possible Excess heat in Ni + H an Ni + D systems recently published 28 October in the Journal of Physics Communications looks interesting.

  • Frank Acland

    Dear Andrea,

Regarding the E-Cat SKL product which you hope to launch in 2022:

    1. Will you offer SKLs of various power ratings?
    2. Will customers be able to combine individual SKLs into a single circuit to increase the total power output?

    Thank you,

    Frank Acland

    @michele fabbro,
    grazie per le tue parole.
    Pazienza!

    Dr. Rossi,
This may or may not be in your current plans with respect to the December 9 presentation, but one thing I’d love to see is to have the Ecat-SKL demonstration followed up with days/weeks/months of the same setup shown continually streaming on the internet, still working and still powering the “load”.

For example there could be a streaming sub-window showing a pair of KWH meters, input and output, slowly creeping up over time and another sub-window showing the entire demo setup in continual operation (and of course the rest of your lab hidden from view).

Aside from a personal interest (it would be thrilling to check it out every day), it might be a way to expand on the increased awareness generated by your 12/9 demo, and beyond that it will help cement the understanding that yours is a device that has capacity far, far beyond that of a common battery.

    Just a thought.
    Best Regards,
    WaltC

    Dear Dr. Rossi,

I would like to pick up on what you said to Ruedi regarding a pre-order of 1000 SKLs. I think it would be good enough to produce a first run of just 10 devices and deliver them to well-known people. I believe that’s enough to most of us to be convinced that the SKL can deliver what will be promised. This would be an excellent publicity. What is your take on this?

Is the SKL completely ready to deliver inductive current now?

Are you close to the certification of the SKL?

I wish you lots of success with the introduction of SKL and SKLED!

    Brice

    Dear Mr. Rossi,
does your E-cats (SKLED – light, SKL – electric, or SK – termal) may reach CoP 26? CoP – for Coefficient of Performance, often discussed on this beautifull blog.

I am shure that it will reach COP27! COP – for Conference of Parties.

Best wishes to you and your team,
    Nebo9

There is no competition, but integration. Since they have many parts in common, we will daliver also if the million units will be combined.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Calle H

    Dear Dr. Rossi,
Please allow me ask for some clarification in your reply to Juan Carlos.
Is it correct that the SKL will be put in production when receiving at least 1 million orders, i.e. same condition as for the SKLed and that this is very likely it will occur in the first quarter of 2022. So, there is now competition between the SKL and SKLed. One of the two will probably win as it may not be likely that the SKL and SKLed orders will each exceed 1 million. At least not at the same time. The status of the ordering books will then be important to be disclosed. No one would like to have bet on a horse that will not make it to the finish line. Please forgive me if I have not understood correctly.
    Kind regards,
    Calle H

  • Darko

    Dear Dr. Rossi,
Have you received the certification for SKLed?
    Best regards,
    Darko

  • P

    Dear Mr Rossi
Great news regarding SKL! I believe that SKL has a greater opportunity to reach 1 million pre-ordered units within a reasonable period of time than SKLed. In order to have a quick impact, it is probably necessary for SKL to be launched by a large, well-known global company. Will SKL be launched as a “pure” Leonardo Corporation product or will it be done in collaboration with a well-known partner?
    Kind Regards
    /P

  • Energy User

    Dear Dr. Rossi –
regarding the Ecat SKL that you are going to present –
what kind of power range are you going to show?
    1. up to 100w
    2. up to 1kw
    3. up to 5kw
    4. more than 5kw

    Thank you for your reply.

  • Ruedi

    Dear Mr. Rossi,
you wrote you need 1 million orders for the Ecat SKL, too:
Would it be possible to produce about 1000 pieces for pre-orders so that these customers can test it, comment it in social network, make youtube-videos.. just in addition to advertisements and to promote it to get the 1 million orders?
    Best

  • Andrea Rossi

    Juan Carlos:
It is very difficult for me to answer you, and I want not to expose you to liabilities versus your neighbors. The diffusion of the Ecats depends on the economy scale that we will reach only if we will collect at least orders for one million units, and this is valid either for the Ecat SKLed and the SKL, that very likely will be put for sale at the same conditions of the SKLed in the first quarter of the 2022. This is all I can honestly say.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Juan Carlos

    Dear Dr. Rossi,

I live in northern Germany in an apartment building with 25 units. Sometime in the next 5 years, our building will need a new heating system, since the old one is now 32 years old, and keeps breaking down. I keep telling the others, that they should be patient, and not too quick to buy a natural gas system. I tell them that an Ecat heater will be available, in “just a couple of years”.

But I don’t want to lead people astray. And I don’t want to raise false hopes.

Does that sound realistic to you? An Ecat heat-source for a 25-apartment building in the next couple of years? And one that “normal people” (as opposed to “rich” people) will be able to finance?

It’s OK if you say, “No, it will be more like 7-10 years”. I won’t be angry, I just want to know what I can realistically tell other people.

  • Dr Rossi,

The United States has a long tradition of nationalizing existing private enterprise such as trains and railroads during the Civil War; and railroads, telegraph, telephone and radio systems during WWI. During WWII nationalization of dozens of textile, mining and transportation firms were mostly done to resolve production shortages. There are well over 100 other examples of implementing nationalization or operational control under public authority since then, not only in wartime but also during economic crisis.

Some consider climate change such a crisis and suggest that the U.S. should now nationalize the fossil fuel industry to reduce their output of products that contribute to greenhouse gas emissions. I think that unlikely. However, if reaching the targets being set during COP26 become as fruitless as reaching past targets there could come a time when eliminating emissions faster by publicly controlling private remedies, such as the E-Cat, comes under discussion.

    Does that worry you?

  • Andrea Rossi

    Calle H:
There would be issues with the certification, but your suggestion can be as an advice stored for the future.
    Warm Regards,
    A.R.

  • Calle H

    Dear Dr. Rossi,
May I ask if you could deliver the SKLed with a infrared LED instead of the cold white LED. This would open applications such as room heating, comfort at outdoor restaurants, etc., and speed up your 1 million order target. I expect that the answer is no because you and your team and partners have already considered this option. With a no, may I ask if it is because:
    1) the LED in the SKLed is not compliant with IR LED or any other regular LEDs
    2) the 1 million target is already reached
    3) you and your partners have a different objective
Thank you if you can answer.
    Kind regards,
    Calle H
