I asked my energy supplier/energy producer how much power I could deliver back with the spot market price as payment.
The answer was 100 kW. This is a high figure for private consumers and could also have a major impact on a number of ordinary businesses.
The problem may be that, as is already happening today under bright sunshine, the market price becomes negative.
Then it would be beneficial to be able to automatically stop the export.

Nuance: bring the test source in and out of range of the meter so you can see the meter continuously go from near zero to full test source reading, real time, continuously, to reduce credibility of claims that the meter was tampered with between readings of different sources.

How about adding an ordering option for the positive and negative leads of DC output of the NGU units supplied with MC4 connectors? These are the same connectors used on solar panels. This would facilitate tying units in serial and the unit or units being used just like a solar panel.
Another Ecat+inverter installation hurdle to jump in the UK.
The problem is whether to buy an Ecat+inverter before or after the Ecat+inverter is added to the ENA Type Test Register[1:]. If the Ecat+inverter is not added to the register by the manufacturer and then approved, then it cannot lawfully be installed and operated with a grid connection in the UK. The best solution I can see is to forget the ON-grid connection and install an OFF-grid inverter+battery with a break before make changeover isolator.
This avoids synchronizing and bureaucratic/legal problems but might increase the possible Ecat peak loads.
The UK legal limits are laid down in the G98, G99 and G100 codes[2:] and inverter users will be required to prove they are compliant before connection to the grid.

I’m very happy to hear that an ac/dc switch will be added to the 100w ecat. Will there be a gage to indicate how many watts are being drawn from the ecat. For example if a 100w ecat has 3 10 watt led lights drawing from the ecat and then I charge a cell phone, will there be an indicator letting me know how many watts are being used? I think this will be important whether for a 100w unit or a 1k assembly.

Then it would be beneficial to be able to automatically stop the export.
An Ecat that is to be able to interact with the grid and possibly export electricity must have the necessary properties and certificates.
Certified contractors will not be able to carry out connections without the necessary product certificates. Contractors will not undertake attempts at certification of fully manufactured units. This is up to the manufacturers. The contractor should only carry out “plug and play” at the plants, in a prescribed manner.
Based on the existing safety certifications, the other necessary certificates will hardly be a problem that requires anything other than time to get in place.
Such time aspects can be presented at the global presentation for conditions where approvals are not yet available.
This will be easy to understand for any interested parties.
However, it is a very important both energy technical and social issue that must be given great importance during the presentation.
I have tried to point this out earlier:
The fact that today’s very dispersed electricity users are now able to cover their own needs and can also supply the network with a surplus when their own needs are low will change the entire load on the cable networks.
The existing infrastructure, which currently has a major capacity shortage, will therefore be more than sufficient to meet future needs.
This will eliminate the current capacity crises that now apply to both low-voltage networks and high-voltage lines from central power generation.
The fact that a short distance between consumption and production is achieved is something that all industries see as a great advantage.
With Ecat, an EV can produce the energy it needs when it is in use in traffic. It can otherwise be connected to the local network and supply energy to both its owner’s home, the nearest neighbors and industries. This is the opposite of what is happening today.
The voltage drop in the network is minimal when the distance between production and consumption is short.
This removes many “bottlenecks” in an extensive energy network and removes the need for major expansions.
New power-intensive industries such as AI and others can easily establish their own environmentally friendly Ecat plants without being dependent on available energy and network capacity.
Ecat will remove the biggest obstacle that currently exists for power-intensive industries.
Presenting these conditions should also be a task that the selected third-party verification institutions must be able to investigate and present in a qualified manner.

One aspect of a presentation that is usually done for the E-Cat is to show that there is no ionizing radiation that is produced. Also, the demonstration that no increase is ambient radiation is produced. I beleive that this type of safety assurance should be done at the forthcoming NGU demo. There will be much speculation about how the NGU produces energy without using any fuel. It is best to head off all adverse speculation right at the beginning.
The ionization demo should show that the equipment used is functioning properly by first show that a test ionizing radiation source will register on the testing equipment. Then show that the testing equipment does not show any readings coming from the NGU that is producing electric power.
This strategy is highly effective for managing public perception. Presenting a fuelless technology that operates outside conventional paradigms will inevitably trigger immediate safety skepticism. The global presentation in January 2027 has an obvious main goal in gaining scientific acceptance that Ecat is able to extract and convert energy from ZPE into a form of energy that we can easily use.
This has a great deal of similarity to the fact that solar cells were developed with the ability to convert sunlight into electricity.
A main problem for Ecat is that ZPE is not a form of energy that humanity is already familiar with.
This significantly increases skepticism among both laypeople and technologists.
By showing that there is an energy flow coming out of Ecat, it is probably the easiest way to gain acceptance that there must also be a real energy flow coming into it from some form of energy source.
There have been quite a few suggestions about finding the most eye-catching way to present this.
The demonstration in Latina in 2024 was met with little attention from technologists and science.
It has been announced that third parties that are well-regarded control and verification institutions for such energy-technical matters will present and document exact numerical energy emissions from Ecat devices.

How about adding an ordering option for the positive and negative leads of DC output of the NGU units supplied with MC4 connectors? These are the same connectors used on solar panels. This would facilitate tying units in serial and the unit or units being used just like a solar panel.
Another Ecat+inverter installation hurdle to jump in the UK.
The problem is whether to buy an Ecat+inverter before or after the Ecat+inverter is added to the ENA Type Test Register[1:]. If the Ecat+inverter is not added to the register by the manufacturer and then approved, then it cannot lawfully be installed and operated with a grid connection in the UK. The best solution I can see is to forget the ON-grid connection and install an OFF-grid inverter+battery with a break before make changeover isolator.
This avoids synchronizing and bureaucratic/legal problems but might increase the possible Ecat peak loads.
The UK legal limits are laid down in the G98, G99 and G100 codes[2:] and inverter users will be required to prove they are compliant before connection to the grid.
