I suspect that the product that they are describing is the ecat. Since Andrea has a complex in California and they probably mention the California facility rather than the Florida facility so that people would not make the connection as easily as if they had referred to the Florida facility. Even though the Leonardo Corp is not seeking public financing their report will identify other companies that will benefit from the product in which their readers can invest. My guess is that Tesla may be number one in the list. I see this as favorable for making ecat a household name because many will chase the carrot to learn who the mystery company is.
Estimates of the ECat SKL’s performance range from a good hundred Watt / dm³ to many kiloWatt / dm³.
Perhaps it is relevant to point out a number of physical characteristics and limitations of devices with known capabilities.
A 500 Watt halogen lamp, which mainly produces heat, fits in a housing that is cooled by natural convection. That housing is at least 4 dm³ in volume. So a good 125 Watt per liter, to be able to dissipate the heat via natural convection.
A petrol engine of a very small car, with a mechanical power of 50 kilowatts, takes up a volume of about 30 dm³
Since only 30% of the energy is delivered in mechanical movement, 70% is dissipated in heat. So a heat dissipation of about 120 kilowatts is required. Water cooling and significant airflow through the radiator and through the exhaust are required. With water cooling you can of course dissipate a lot of heat. Just think of nuclear reactors of more than 2 gigaWatt. It is therefore impossible to estimate the performance of the ECat SKL on the basis of water cooling.
For comparison, a 1965 VW Beetle had an air-cooled 25-kilowatt petrol engine. This engine was estimated to have a volume of 36 dm³, and had cooling fins and a fan.
Without too much calculations, we arrive at a 500 Watt heat dissipation per dm³ in forced air-cooled applications.
So to steer us a little bit in the right direction, I would have liked to know if the ECat SKL is air cooled or water cooled, and in case of air cooling: whether forced cooling is needed or if it works with natural convection and radiation.

For example, if your (Leonardo Corp.) partner company does not have exclusivity for the whole world or for the Europe, do You allow the possibility of licensed E-CAT production by other possible manufacturers as well?
