The first stream with the lamp had already proven that the E-Cat can deliver more energy, any conceivable battery.
For the next stream I recommend you to do something more entertaining.
A suggestion: Build a transparent indoor fountain where you can see that several watts of power are necessary to pump the corresponding amount of water.
Water is always nice to watch because the flow never repeats. Maybe you can also combine it with a play of colors. You put the whole fountain on a rotating plexiglass disk, which is driven by a second E-Cat.
I think such a fountain should be fail-safe enough to run for a few years. It’s really a gimmick anyway.
If you now have to work on the E-Cat Core anyway, wouldn’t it make sense to tackle the next stage of downsizing (increasing power density) at the same time?
I do believe that you and your team will solve the current technological problem.
As I look for the best application of eCat SKLep SSM, I am still drawn to residential electrical power applications.
I suggest that SKLep SSM is best suited for applications where constant and continuous operation is required.
I further suggest that residential locations (homes, condo, apartment complexes) could be equipped with battery storage systems. The purpose of these battery systems would be to handle the variations in demand by the residential unit. The SKLep SSM units would slowly charge the battery systems, supplying constant power 24/7. The battery systems, through an appropriate converter, would provide the working AC power.
If grid electrical power is available, the converter would synchronize its output to the grid power. If the grid power is lost, the power connection to the electrical grid would be disabled for safety of electrical linesman working to restore power to the electrical grid. A separate grid monitoring line would receive grid power so the converter could tell when the electrical grid power was presence and its characteristics.
The SKLep SSM should be sized to meet the average energy requirements of the residence, plus 10%. Any excess electrical energy could be passed back to the electrical grid when it is operating and, perhaps, when it is most needed. The 10% limitation is there to not provide too much electrical power to the grid so as to not overload the local grid wiring and transformers.
If the residence had an immediate need for short term additional electrical energy, such as charging several Electric Vehicles, then grid power could flow into the residence.
This philosophy, I suggest, would generate a symbiotic relationship between the grid system and the residential power system.
Most inverters are still grid-following (requires grid connection) although I assume
E-Cat Power installed with grid-forming (off-grid) inverters combined with a battery buffer could become the preferred application in many parts of the world.
Mr.Rossi
I would also like to add my own opinion. Apparently, the E-catSKLep failure is not related to functionality, but to regulation. Regulation is well developed in automation. The PI (proportional-integrative) and PID (proportional-integrative-derivative) methods are used to regulate everything from cooling to heating. So the fix could be quick without any problems.
Warm Regards J.Š.

Another question:
1) Since it took you many, many months to identify that you had this potential issue with the Ecat device, is it also going to take you many, many months to verify that you have, in fact, fixed it?
In law there are two (or more) methods of defects:
DESIGN DEFECT
The shortcomings of an item due to defect in concept that is prevented through design changes.
MANUFACTURING DEFECT
A deviation from design specifications during production resulting in a product’s defect, frailty or shortcoming.
A DESIGN DEFECT affects all items of the same design. A MANUFACTURING DEFECT is associated with typically only one, or a few, units which are or become defective while the vast majority function correctly.
Considering the number of SKLep units you have generated, would your current problem be better characterized as a Design or a Manufacturing problem? Note that the manufacturing problem might be resolved by changing the design to accommodate the manufacturing variations and tolerances.
1) Does this potential for malfunction that you uncovered change your confidence in the eventual Warranty (3 years) or the Expected Operational Lifetime (>100K hours)?
2) Are you continuing to run any of the preexisting devices somewhere so that you can better understand what the failure mode for those devices, and potentially future devices if they were to exhibit similar, but rarer, failure modes?
One question I should have asked when we spoke this week, but I did not:
What is the effect of the malfunction you have reported on the safety certifications you have obtained. Does new certification testing need to be done on the redesigned E-Cat?
Dear Dr Andrea Rossi,
We can understand that now you can’t know when you will be ready to make the test with the EV, but perhaps you can answer these questions:
1- when the error analysis will be sufficient for you to restart the streaming on Youtube and Twitch of the SSM Ecat powered lamp ?
2- do you think one year will be sufficient for you to reschedule the Ecat SSM powered EV test ?
Thank you if you can answer,
I would like to briefly summarise the essence of your interview as I understood it.
During a test of the E-Cat EV system, there was a malfunction in the E-Cat confidential core system. This took the system out of operation. It turned out that if the system had continued to operate, there would probably have been a significant safety risk. No people or equipment were harmed during the malfunction. Since this malfunction could occur with any E-Cat, all E-Cats, including the lamp in the livestream, were switched off to avoid any safety risk.
Upon further analysis, the realisation has matured that the cause lies in the design and can be remedied purely technically. There are no findings that affect the theoretical approach.
The measures to remedy the causes cannot be estimated in terms of time at present, so no date has yet been set for a restart of the PA demonstration.
Have I presented it correctly, or do you want to add something?
Mr.Rossi
I admire your courage and honesty. I thought my comment might hurt you. There is great hope and strength in your answer to bring things to a successful conclusion. You also reassured me with your answer and I think the correction will be quick.
