Dear Andrea,
I know, it is something that does not matter to me but, to increase the power to 1KW is a matter to do bigger stuff, or to increase the capacity to extract the current, or both.

The Concept of a Renewable Energy Virtuous Circle, CREVC
I like the idea of being ‘Energy Independent’, or in reality that ‘we’ should be in ‘Renewable energy Surplus’.
That would mean that an individual or Institution produced, stored, and maintained enough of it’s own Renewable Energy that it never needed to use Fossil fuel energy, and potentially could sell/trade surplus renewable energy as or when needed.
The application of this concept can now become a reality.
The application of this concept is what is needed to ‘defeat’ the use of fossil fuels, and get to ‘Zero carbon’.
Renewable Energy by itself is not sufficient if we are still using fossil fuels to produce or maintain renewable energy systems.
Full life cycle CREVC is what is required. No Fossil fuels.
“CREVCNOFF”.
As an example, Wind turbine manufacturers could use Renewable energy generated by wind turbines to manufacture, install, maintain and at end of life, recycle them. A Whole life virtuous circle.
True decoupling from Fossil fuels.
My question. Do you like this concept and use it or wish to use it in your manufacturing facilities.
In mass production, if at all possible, you don’t actually do quality control on the individual piece. The complete manufacturing process is validated so that the scrap rate is negligible. Please get advice from a validation expert so that the unit costs can be reduced.
Robert:
Probably you mean 18650 Akkus: I don’t know any 16850 Akkus. This application must be tested. I do not know if it is worth, it depends on the specific situation. It is much better to use 12 V batteries.
Warm Regards,
A.R.
May I ask some questions about the on going production
I understand from recent posts that specific components are being manufactured rather than complete units although some complete units have also been assembled and tested.
1. Is the production of the component you mentioned continuing on a more or less daily (work day) basis?
2. Or is it more in batches due to early set up and testing etc
3. Can you say which component is being manufactured? The reactor. controller ir something else?
Are you able to test the component without full assembly.
4. Do you run a simple test each component a power cycle say or just a small sample
5. Is the quality and success rate of the production high?
6. Do you see that in e future production can be expanded to other sites or will you keep it mostly centralized?
7. Or Could we see modularized recycling and production plants in every city or r town somewhere down the line?
Dr Joseph Fine.
Thank you for your suggestions and for the links.
About the 3D printing technology: we made experiments with 3D printing and we saw that this technology works well to make prototypes, but it is not competitive if applied to industrial production.

Heat exchangers, devices which transfer heat between fluids without mixing them, have a wide range of practical applications. Heat exchangers which transfer thermal energy between fluids are used in systems including refrigeration, fuel cells and the types of internal combustion engines used in cars and aircrafts.
In a new paper published in Applied Thermal Engineering, the researchers describe how they developed and built the prototype system, which they estimate to be 50% more effective than a market-leading conventional heat exchanger despite being one-tenth of its size.
The system owes its effectiveness to the design of architected surfaces over which liquids flow through the exchanger. The cube-shaped exchanger draws water through a core studded with tiny holes arranged in a gyroid configuration.
Gyroids are part of a group of cellular designs that are constructed using triply periodic minimal surface geometries having non-self-intersecting and highly symmetrical periodic surfaces.
Perhaps, you may find a use for these heat exchangers.
I thought of this several times, but it seems impossible.
But I was wondering…
If you have a set of 2 to 4 SKLep’s with battery backup, and one SKLep (@ 100 W) is generating electricity, with 1-3 SKLeps in reserve, can part of the 100 W output (e.g. 10 – 20 W) from the first stage be used to drive one or two 1-KW second stage SKLeps?!
You might obtain a second stage output of 1 – 2 kW from this 10-20 W the first stage output.
Meanwhile, you’re still charging the backup batteries.
(And, occasionally, use the full 100 W first stage output to generate 10 KW at the second stage output).
Peter Tomaszewski:
Dear Mr. Tomaszewski,
thank you very much for your comment. I know that MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) devices are not really suitable for the Ecat, but currently there are no small certified grid-tied inverters without MPPT on the market and there are not many in the lower power range. The Ecat isn’t really compatible with solar, but as far as I know you can set the Ecat to 16V 6.25A and three in a row would give you 48V 6.25A. That’s about what you get from a solar panel.
So it would be great if someone would develop an inverter that would do the job, but it has to be certified for the country. In Germany, you can feed up to 600 W of electrical power into the grid. If you have more, you need a certified company to install it.
It would be nice if you could report when more information is available from the company in Shenzen.

Esteemed Andrea Rossi,
as you know for sure, powerful interests, unimaginable to most, are behind the management of world energy.
You and your collaborators have been and have been the subject of suspected defamation, which is reasonable to assume is not accidental.
As the date of mass production approaches, these attempts at discredit and/or sabotage will increase.
A piece of advice I can give you is to launch the distribution, even of only thousands of units, as soon as possible. I think it is the only guarantee that we can have that the project will not be blocked before its birth.
All our esteem.
Stimato Andrea Rossi,
I am trying to get a picture of the ECat SKLep’s readiness for volume production.
Question 1
Have you built at least 50 complete production prototype ECat SKLep assemblies including control electronics? By production prototype I mean that the units are close to a shippable configuration.
Question 2
Have at least 40 of these production prototype assemblies been tested and found to meet specifications?
Question 3
Have at least 10 of these production prototype assemblies been run at full power for at least 1000 hours and met specifications throughout the test.
Question 4
Have at least 2 of these production prototypes been run at full power for at least 1000 hours using a rechargeable battery to power the ECat SKLep without any grid connection.
Dear Dr. Rossi,

Dear Mr. Preschel. Most inverters need highervoltage as just 12Vdc at zhe MTTP input, therefore several Skleps must be hooked-up in series. Use another MTTP input as the one which is workig with your solar panel is fully occupied with solar panels. Sure, after Skleps are connected the other MTTP finds optimal point quite fast. It would stay constant as the Sklep delivers all time the same values.
Quite honestly, for Sklep-Generator one needs dedicated inverters: different input voltages and input currents and no MTTP or a very simple one. Whole inverter can be very simple and low cost. I got input from a big Shenzen inverter producer, that they already work on such devices to came to market as soon as Sklep is available for sale. The game is on !
