Abstract
Dear Dr Rossi,
More and more often on JONP, I see questions addressed to you about the types of loads that the E-Cat is able to “manage”.
Regarding this “topic” I believe I can provide some very important indications.
Thanks to the integration and demo of the E-Cat EV on my Twizy, I had the opportunity to use, under its control, on September 6 and 7, 2024, a 3kW E-Cat.
Much has been said and written about the demonstration at the Latina racetrack on September 27, 2024, as has also been done about the test on the roller
bench on September 7, 2024 (8 hours of testing at the same power used in the Latina demonstration of the E-Cat EV).
Much less has been written/said about the tests carried out by Us on September 6, 2024 in my Box, while we “integrated” the E-Cat into my Twizy to carry
out, the following day, the test on the roller bench (in those 2 days the Ecat always remained under my “control/sight”, and on the night of September 6,
at the end of the joint activity, in preparation for the test on the “rollers”, it remained closed in my box inside the Twizy).

Dear Andrea ,
Suppose I want to connect 5 12V-100W DC ECATs in series to achieve 500W-60V DC!
Can the 5 12V ECATs be adjusted to, for example, 11V ?
And how can we see or measure the voltage of each ECAT ?
Because when connecting them in series, all five ECATs must have the same voltage!
The goal is to be able to adjust the voltages for connection to a suitable DC inverter to an AC 230V grid.
P.S.: By suitable inverter, I mean the inverter’s input DC range.
For example, instead of 60V DC, I mean 55V DC.

Can you please provide the main permitted applications or examples of ECat applications that will be manufactured by your industrial partner?
This specific and permitted list of ECat applications would clear up many questions from readers and potential buyers of this new type of electricity source.
Undoubtedly, as ECat technology develops, the application areas will expand. But at this stage, many are interested in typical permitted applications of ECat that will be manufactured industrially in 2025.

Good morning, Dr Rossi. Regarding your response to Jasmine Rebelais, I would like to ask if your considerations also apply when Ecat is used exclusively to supply an ‘island’ type plant with energy. In such a system, which is similar to a stand-alone photovoltaic system, the energy stored in the batteries is converted into alternating current with the correct characteristics by an inverter. Do you still believe that charging electric cars is not currently possible in this case?

It has been a while since I last followed the chat, but I am still very interested and have ordered a long time ago. Has mass production already started, and is there a timeline for delivery?
Is there a page, where we can follow the progress? If this is going to work, it will be one of the greatest inventions ever.

Of course everybody is free to use at home anything of his property if he wants ! But he is responsible and therefore liable of all the consequences if he disregards the instruction manuals of the devices he uses; he is free to use his knives, but not to kill somebody with his knives. In our case: the Manufacturer probably will write clearly in the instructions manual what is possible to do and what is dangerous or forbidden to do for safety reasons, and will put a disclaimer to inform the Clients that the guarantee will be severed if they will use the Ecat for tasks it is not certified for. In the case of the recharge of the EV batteries, upon suggestion of his attorneys, he will not authorize our clients to use the Ecat to recharge the batteries of EVs, even at home, because they do not have yet specific certification, they do not have enough specific experience, we had accidents during specific tests recharging EV batteries, and, finally, they decided that are not going to allow the EV recharge to our Customers if the car manufacturer has not authorized this activity: this is the decision.
FOR THESE REASONS:
If an owner of Ecat will cause any kind of damages to persons or anything for having charged at home or ouside an EV battery, either in movement or not, he will be totally liable for any kind of caused damages.
This situation could change in future only if a major car manufacturer will allow this operation.

About the recharge of EV batteries using the Ecat while the EV is at home: I am confused, because you say it is forbidden to recharge such batteries with the Ecat even at home, when the EV is still inside the property of the client; well, but let me ask: isn’t anybody free to use his Ecat as he wants inside his property ?

Will you be making an permanent open-for-public show-room of an e-cat unit or several units of varying power outputs in operation for the public to review when the e-Cats are for sale? I had placed an order for a 5kW unit years ago and i am very eager to receive once the units start rolling out.
